Blocked[edit]

admission of collateral damage[edit]

Alison wrote this http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk%3ARadiomango&diff=235109145&oldid=235108691

Note the "just for good measure" This shows that she is banning people just to smash everyone. I am not these people. I do use this apartment wifi.

There is no logic because I did not violate WP:SOCK by editing with these other people to manipulate an article. Therefore, I am not a sock or violating the sock rules.

Oprahwasontv is being blocked as the sockmaster and a sock of Dereks1x but the checkuser clears her. So this is being used as an excuse. I found that Dereks1x is in Seattle based on this. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk%3AAleta&diff=212942311&oldid=212822136 I am in Maryland, not Seattle.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I am being blocked as collateral damage as admitted above ("blocked just for good measure" http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk%3ARadiomango&diff=235109145&oldid=235108691 ). The absolute platinum standard is an editor who vandalizes or is persistent in unsupported fringe theories should be blocked. Sockpuppetry is just an excuse that is convenient to use to block anyone (you can always say "based on behavior", I say you edit just like Jimbo Wales so you two are socks). I have not edited the concert with anyone else. I am also in Maryland and this link proves that Dereks1x is in Seattle http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk%3AAleta&diff=212942311&oldid=212822136. Furthermore, Oprahwasontv is proven not to be related to Dereks1x by this http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia%3ARequests_for_checkuser%2FCase%2FDereks1x&diff=150245668&oldid=144850707 but they went on to accuse her anyway and ban her with the frivolous reason

The truth of the matter is that the sock excuse is being used to ban people. Your job is not be conspire with others to support the ban. Your job is to review my edits and conclude that they are reasonable. Then unblock.

If you refuse to unblock, please explain how the checkuser proves me innocent. Blocking is supposed to be used for disruption. Show the edit that says the Holocaust never happened and that's reason for block. Please unblock me.

FYI, my recent edits have included bringing up that the Dali Lama has been hospitalized with citations provided, that Senator Biden is also running for Senator with citations and correcting an ERROR in wikipedia that said he wasn't sure, reorganized the Barack Obama political positions by rearranging text so that the foreign policy things would be together and the domestic things together but not saying he's good or bad, mention about Yuri Nosenko with references, mention about Loudoun County with references, all of these are good edits. Please don't be mean and think up of some excuse to deny this polite and good request. Instead thing of a good reason like "good edits, will watch this person" and I will repay you with kindness and continue to make great wikipedia edits. This is obviously a great test case because others can see that either you are making up an excuse to deny the request or that you evaluate edits independently and find them better than 90% of wikipedians

Decline reason:

Nope. Same person as Radiomango. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 06:43, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  • Please also see the almost-identical User talk:Radiomango. Same exact story, same excuses. You weren't blocked "for good measure", you were blocked for being a sockpuppet of User:Oprahwasontv, and evading your block. I notice now that it's shared WiFi and not an internet café this time. Unfortunately, you all appear to be sharing the same computer, too - Alison 05:58, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oh, and neither are you in Maryland, as you say above - Alison 06:00, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Alison, Oprahwasontv is proven not to be a sock of Dereks1x. Now you are re-writting history and calling me sock. I say to you, name the edit that is disruptive and biased. You see, you are behind this weird sense of control.Goss9900 (talk) 06:02, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Alison, there is no other way. You are lying. I am in Maryland. Should I call you and verify? I simply don't understand it. I am in Maryland. Therefore, I must conclude that you are maliciously making this up. Goss9900 (talk) 06:03, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I just looked up my IP. It is 12.176.20.xxx and my IP locator puts it as Maryland. I am close to Washington, DC. Goss9900 (talk) 06:05, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'll grant you that, yes. You do appear to be (or very near it). The above IP resolves to Washington DC. I won't comment as to whether it's yours or not. You do know quite a lot about this Dereks1x guy, though, including diffs, locations, etc. How does that work then? - Alison 06:13, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
