Talk:Personal Ordinariate[edit]

Apart from the Traditional Anglican Communion, the article should consider verifying whether groups such as the Anglo-Lutheran Catholic Church have ever sought a similar canonical structure to the proposed personal ordinariates. ADM (talk) 18:08, 26 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sir, can you confirm what is written at [1]? (Look for comment at 22:31) --Wllacer (talk) 17:58, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. what is written at [2]? (comment at 22:31) is accurate. See my comments under "discussion" section of the Wilipedia article about the Anglo-Lutheran Catholic Church I posted 19 November 2009 for details. --Gladfelteri (talk) 12:12, 19 November 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello Mr. Gladfelteri (I hope it's okay if I call you that). I just wanted to drop by and make a few suggestions regarding your recent edits to Anglo-Lutheran Catholic Church. Firstly, regarding Raymond Copp, you marked a number of the edits you made to this section as minor when they were not what we generally consider to be minor. For example, you removed a reference and the {{anchor}} template with edit summaries saying that you were only making formatting changes. Typically only edits like correcting typos should be marked as minor. As an aside (in case your were wondering), the {{anchor}} template doesn't actually change the way the page looks to a reader, but it takes them directly to that part of the page when they're looking for the section on Raymond Copp.

You also added a line regarding the churches with which the Anglo-Lutheran Catholic Church is in full communion. This is, of course, important information. However, even though you would obviously know about these things, information based on personal knowledge still needs to be referenced. Do you know of any reliable sources that support the information you've added?  -- Lear's Fool 01:31, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Good Morning, Lear's Fool. Here is a reference to a website listing the Churches with which the Anglo-Lutheran Catholic Church is in full communion: http://anglolutherancatholic.org/administration-and-diocesan-offices/churches-in-communion .

Here is a reference to the fact that Raymond Copp was never, as claimed in the information about him which I removed, a member of the New York City Police Department (NYPD.) Instead, he served 20 years with the New York State Police, and after his retirement from the NY State Police, served as Chief of Police, Brandywine Regional Police, PA.: http://gp4u.us/Our_Counselors.html

Thanks for your helpful information. gladfelteri gladfelteri 10:32, 29 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome Home[edit]

My warmest congratulations for the wonderful news that you and your flock are joining the Ordinariate. I pray for a smooth bridge crossing. Wllacer (talk) 11:01, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, Wllacer! Blessings and peace. [User:gdfelteri|gladfelteri]] (talk) 9:201, 22 February 2011 (CST)

The article Raymond Walter Copp has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. No offense taken. I have provided several references to reliable outside sources to support / verify the information in the article. I simply ran out of time to add the references at the time I wrote that article before having to sign out for an appointment. I added the references as soon as the appointment was over. gladfelteri gladfelteri 14:43, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

ALCC page:[edit]

I was reading the Anglo-Lutheran Catholic Church page, which I see that you have heavily edited. I was wondering if you would correct the external links at the bottom of the page. I was looking for more information, but I kept finding dead links. For example, it was unclear to me whether the ALCC has joined the ordinariate and no longer exists as a church body apart from the Roman Church, and the links were an absolute mess and no help. I did not want to simply delete them- I'd rather be able to find the info! Thanks Wcbpolish (talk) 19:07, 11 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
