Much of the material you added from the Field Trip NJ web page is not found on that page. Material you add to Wikipedia must be supported by the sources you cite.
Sites with user-generated content, such as personal blogs on Blogspot/Blogger, are not reliable under WP:USERG, unless they are written by someone who is generally regarded as a credentialed or reliable authority. Please see WP:IRS for more on this. Similarly, personal blogs are not considered appropriate for the EL section, as per WP:ELNO. Moreover, if you do add a citation of an appropriate source in the article body, it is not necessary to also include it in the External links sections, since that section is for links not already cited as sources in the article body.
A somewhat more minor point, but it is not necessary to refer to an "upstairs" balcony, since all balconies, by definition, are located on the second floor or higher of a building.

Reliability of the source is part of what I said above, but not all of it. The other significant issue is that the material you add must come from the source that you're citing. Many of the data points you added on the basis of the Field Trip NJ cite were not found on that web page, including:

That the Bottos built the house and were its original owners.
That the balcony was a "great platform"
That Big Bill Haywood and Carlo Tresca were among those who gave speeches from it.
That the speeches were given in German, Italian and English.
Also, the passage "The gatherings often took a festive air as singers and musicians performed between speeches." was unsourced. I'm not sure if you were indicating that this too came from the Field Trip source, since you placed this passage after the citation instead of before it, as should be done, per WP:PAIC, but that info too, is not found at the Field Trip web page.

I notice that in your subsequent edit, you again added material that is not in the cited source. The entry on the Botto House on Page 70 of The Italian American Experience: An Encyclopedia does not mention the following data points you added:

That the Botto's were "skilled".
That Maria came to the U.S. from Biella. The source indicates this of Pietro, but does not indicate Maria's origins.
That the Bottos are the ones who built the house.
That the house was built in 1908. The source only mentions that Botto moved to Haledon in that year, not that the house was built that year.

As a fellow Italian-American who's trying to preserve local NJ history, I sympathize with your aims, but the information we add must be found in the sources we cite, and your repeated addition of material not found in the sources you cite suggest that you may be adding material based on your own personal knowledge, which is not permitted. Moreoever, there were a number of facts in the source that you could've added but did not, like the fact that Botto first settled in West Hoboken when he came to the U.S., the name of the factory in Haledon where he worked, what Maria did during the rallies at their home, the fact that they had four daugthers, the fact one of his daughters, Eva, were blacklisted after the strike, even though they were not among the striking workers, etc. I added those for you, but for future reference, please do not add material that is not found in the sources you cite.

Also, when citing a source more than once in an article, you don't have to write out the full publication info. Using the ref name tag allows you to cite a source more than once without having to do so. It would only be considered reliable if that site, or those two authors, are considered so by historians. According to that site's About page, the principle owner of that site, Kelly, does not give her full name, and her only credential is that she is an American Studies major in college. The second person, Tom, sounds like he has better credentials, but again, it's just his word that he has them. We would need some type of independent credentialing, or some indication that they are considered authorities among historians, like secondary sources. Otherwise, it just looks their personal hobby. My perspective on a criteria for Italian American article editing[edit]

The Italian American story is really quite beautiful, and I believe it deserves to be told accurately and intelligibly. The story stands on its own merits, and does not have to be embellished with a lot of nonessential details, which only detracts from its readability.

I believe the average reader of the article will want a digest, rather than an exhaustive compendium, of the Italian American experience. On the other hand, for the scholar, the article should be complete enough to provide a good starting point for further research using the references and reading list provided at its end.
