Atrangi re cast

Hi, Please do not try to change the order of Atrangi re Cast.It should be in the correct order as the way it's trailer has. Thank you Yuvraj rathore2424 (talk) 13:28, 3 January 2022 (UTC)

Yuvraj rathore2424, you have been repeatedly warned— even blocked— that the reality is otherwise. The trailer does not determine the cast order, unless the film does not have credits or it's an upcoming film; Atrangi is neither. If you violate again, you may be blocked indefinitely. GeraldWL 13:33, 3 January 2022 (UTC)
Something that is sorely lacking here is a discussion on the article talk page. Follow WP:BRD, follow the MOS on how cast order should be listed and provide references to back up views. Ravensfire (talk) 18:31, 3 January 2022 (UTC)
Ravensfire, sadly I have tried to do so (on their userpage, I'm not doing it in the talkpage due to mobile difficulties), but Yuvraj never replies and just continues with their will. GeraldWL 18:35, 3 January 2022 (UTC)
I know, I know. That message was more for Yuvraj rathore2424, but it's always a good idea to have article related discussions on the article talk page. That way other editors on that article may find the discussion and participate. Leaving a user talk post to point to the discussion is helpful though. Something to consider - it's really easy to think that an editing dispute is between you and the other editor, but remember the entire goal is to improve the article, so having discussions in a more available place can result in more participation. More importantly, it helps keep the focus on improving the article, not about individual editors. EDIT: since my compile for work is really stupidly slow ... Welcome to the 2022 WikiCup!

Happy New Year and Happy New WikiCup! The 2022 competition has just begun and all article creators, expanders, improvers and reviewers are welcome to take part. Even if you are a novice editor you should be able to advance to at least the second round, improving your editing skills as you go. If you have already signed up, your submissions page can be found here. If you have not yet signed up, you can add your name here and the judges will set up your submissions page. Any questions on the rules or on anything else should be directed to one of the judges, or posted to the WikiCup talk page. Signups will close at the end of January, and the first round will end on 26 February; the 64 highest scorers at that time will move on to round 2. The judges for the WikiCup this year are: Sturmvogel 66 (talk · contribs · email) and Cwmhiraeth (talk · contribs · email). Good luck! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 14:36, 5 January 2022 (UTC)

Copyedit

I'm trying to get It's Elementary: Talking About Gay Issues in School from GA to FA status. I'm reaching out to see if you would be able to give the article a copyedit. I understand if not and I will then request a copyedit from the Guild page. I noticed that you contributed to FA before and I was wondering if you had any suggestions for finding similar FAs to compare It's Elementary to. I have no idea if I'm close it or far from it. I have no idea where to go to receive the best help. SL93 (talk) 00:47, 7 January 2022 (UTC)

SL93, hey! I read the article and although you did put considerable work there, I don't think it will be a smooth FAC you'll get. The only thing I can suggest is the reception section could be something a little more WP:RECEPTION-ish. It's fine if there's not much info on the film, but some editors still hold the "featured articles are long" notion and you will have to be able to defend your stance. I can't do much, but I wish you good luck. GeraldWL 11:14, 7 January 2022 (UTC)
I will work on expanding the article as much as I can, but there are plenty film articles such as Asmara Moerni that have passed FA and aren't super long. It really depends on the time period of the film, the country of origin, and the type of film such as a documentary. SL93 (talk) 16:50, 7 January 2022 (UTC)

WikiCup & the Good Article Nomination Backlog Drive

Hi there, you're receiving this note because you're currently signed up for the 2022 WikiCup and don't yet have any points in the competition. As you may know, scoring any points in the first round is traditionally sufficient to advance to the second, and a fast way to get 5 points is to complete a good article review. Given that the January 2022 Good Article Nomination Backlog Drive is active for another 10 days, you might be interested in pitching in. Complete one review, and you'll be on to the next round in WikiCup; complete two or three, and you'll also be eligible to win some barnstars. As always, quality reviews with attention to detail are expected. Cheers, --Usernameunique (talk) 19:40, 22 January 2022 (UTC)

Usernameunique, thanks for reminding me! For the past few weeks my laptop was in the workshop due to some problems with the keyboard, and now its fixed, so I'm definitely participating in the BD now. GeraldWL 06:58, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
Great! Glad to see you sign up—and hope the keyboard issues are behind you, always fun to deal with... --Usernameunique (talk) 07:08, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
