Request reason:

I was merely warning others they were in violation of the three revert rule. since there were three of them i had to post several times. they cannot act in concernt to revert the same thing from multiple addresses. that violates the wiki rules against three reverts using multiple addresses as ironically i was posting to the talk page when you blocked me. It isn't fair that a discussion be put to the talk page and I then be blocked from posting to the discussion page

Decline reason:

Clear violation of WP:3RR. — Yamla 02:08, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Edit warring is every bit frowned upon -- at global warming in particular, the article has frequently had problems, and administrators have opted to choose tighter enforcement over full page protection. I, for one, will only unblock you on the condition you agree not to replace the link until after it is discussed and supported on the talk page. Wiki can be a difficult culture to get involved with, but it needs to be clear that edit warring in general, and at this article in particular, will have consequences. – Luna Santin (talk) 01:26, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Globalboiling link[edit]

I removed it because it is not directly relevant to the subject of tropical cyclones. It's just a collection of data that might be (but doesn't appear to be) relevant to global warming, which is, for the purpose of this encyclopedia, a separate subject. It also seems to be an activism website for global warming, which is also not allowed. See WP:EL. --Coredesat 21:58, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ditto. Please stop adding this link William M. Connolley 09:52, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I concur with the above assessment, but in the interest of fair hearing, I have started a discussion on the article's talk page. Please discuss the matter there, and if we reach a consensus that the link should be in the article, we can add it back then. Thanks, --TeaDrinker 23:15, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I will reply to your notes on the global warming talk page shortly, however I did want to make a friendly point about some conventions on how to post to talk pages (mostly from Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines). New comments get posted the bottom of pages, not the top. Multiple posting on the same topic to multiple pages is generally frowned upon, particluarly when the material is cut-and-paste. Concision and clarity are generally looked favorably upon. Thanks, --TeaDrinker 00:29, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Globalboiling manifesto[edit]

Hi Geopilotwiki, I understand that you're pretty enthusiastic about the globalboiling site, but it's inappropriate (and counterproductive) to post long proclamations about "censorship" all over the place. Please read WP:EL, and participate in the discussion on the talk page. --Akhilleus (talk) 00:27, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Three-revert rule[edit]

Also, please be aware of the three-revert rule, which you appear to be in danger of violating. --Akhilleus (talk) 00:30, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You've been blocked for continued edit warring on the global warming article. When the block expires, please discuss reinserting the link on the article's talk page. Naconkantari 01:04, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
