Welcome!

Hello, Gefred7112, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like Softies (song), may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted (if it hasn't already).

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Versus22 talk 05:12, 9 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Softies (song)[edit]

I have nominated Softies (song), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Softies (song). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Versus22 talk 05:12, 9 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not continue to add "Follow the Leader" as a centric episode for Richard Alpert. Your edits have been reverted several times per the relevant talk page discussion, in which you have refused to participate. If you continue this pattern of disruptive editing, you may be blocked. --Jackieboy87 (talk · contribs) 23:38, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Whether participating or not please don't change it without a consensus gained. --HELLØ ŦHERE 16:52, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Ilana-Lost.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Ilana-Lost.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor (talk) 00:22, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Weezer[edit]

Get this through your head, REPRESENT is a single, confirmed all over the internet including Weezer/Weezerpedia.com, while it is an awesome song, Tripping Down the Freeway is NOT a single (perhaps yet) until you can find a ligitimet source that CONFIRMES it is the NEXT (not now, cause Represent is their officail 22nd single) single, Wikipedia will take action against your vandilism if you do not stop. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.72.86.209 (talk) 03:33, 24 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • You dolt, I haven't touched that page for a month. Rivers announced at a concert that "Trippin'" was going to be the next single, but you're right, I don't have a source other than that, so I left it alone. But if you really must know, "Represent" is also not a single. It was an iTunes single, but that doesn't mean it was a single ("Dreamin'" was also an iTunes single, as were many song on Raditude). But I don't know why you came to my talk page in the first place. If you look at the names of the person who most recently made the edit, guess what? That isn't me! Gefred7112 (talk) 02:34, 25 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry but, Represent IS an officail single, it was not part of a promotion for Weezer and it has it's own music video, plus, it wouldn't have stayed on Wikipedia if it wasn't! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.72.86.187 (talk) 22:11, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:20101129weezer08.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:20101129weezer08.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 00:02, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

December 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Raditude, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. The reverted edit can be found here. Thank you. Inka888 00:33, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
