Hi --Gdaly7

Hi, I was wondering if you could adopt me since I´m new to wikipedia... Thanks Naty....Vamdiatwilover (talk) 01:30, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}} i archived my talk page. did i do it right?

You had unnecessarily repeated "User talk:Gdaly7" in the name of the archive, so I've fixed that for you. Regards, BencherliteTalk 12:40, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

(talk) 14:14, 23 September 2008 (UTC) {{helpme}}the Talk:List of Hannah Montana episodespage is way to long needs to be shorter . i know how to archive but this has allready been archived so it won't let me. thanks --gdaly7 (talk)

Try Talk:List of Hannah Montana episodes/Archive 2. It would be best to ask on the talk page first whether anybody minds. BencherliteTalk 12:49, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}}

ok let say you have allready started archiving and you on like 7 archive and you want to switch over to auto archives {{archives|auto=yes} how do you do it keeping the other archives --gdaly7 (talk) 13:59, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • You can ask bencherlite on his talk page, you don't need to keep using helpmes over and over again. I don't know how to do it myself, but almost noboy ever answers helpme tags unless they've been there 14 days, so... Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 16:03, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Talk:The Suite Life on Deck and archiving generally[edit]

FYI, responding by interlacing your comments within the comments of another, as you did here is inappropriate. It's best to respond by quoting what the other person has said in your reply. It may seem extra work but the general consensus is that it aids readability and reduces confusion.

Regarding archiving, it's not necessary to include {{archive box}} on talk pages because {{Talkheader}} automatically includes links to archive subpages. Once an archive page is created, the links will appear, as at Talk:List of Hannah Montana episodes. When archiving, it's standard practice not to archive recent and open conversations, as you did when archiving Talk:List of Hannah Montana episodes. Don't worry, I've fixed the problem on that page. --AussieLegend (talk) 16:44, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tagging pages[edit]

Please don't tag pages as candidates for speedy deletion without properly justifying your reasons, as you did to Calculating Visions: Kennedy, Johnson, and Civil Rights.[1] If you had checked the talk page for this article you would have noted that the article was nominated for deletion only recently, in September, and and the outcome of the AfD was keep. You appear to have tagged a number of articles in quick succession without much examination of the value or history of the articles. You should note that "not that important" is not a valid reason for speedy deletion. --AussieLegend (talk) 18:28, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Carl Goresky[edit]

I'm a bit confused as to why you requested speedy deletion on Carl Goresky. There were clear claims of notability/importance (Order of Canada for starters). Something going on here that I'm missing?--Fabrictramp | talk to me 18:29, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And what's up with the other speedy deletion tags?--Fabrictramp | talk to me 18:31, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Uruguay/talkheader[edit]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. AussieLegend (talk) 19:53, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

User Boxes[edit]

{{helpme}} i can't get my user boxes to line up nicely on my user page --gdaly7 (talk) 07:53, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You had some wrong table code in there. I fixed it up now. I suggest you read up on Help:Tables to know how to make and edit tables. Regards SoWhy 09:10, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Your ArbCom Vote[edit]

Thanks for your interest in this year's ArbCom elections. Unfortunately, we were required to set a criteria for voters, and that was decided to be the following:

  • Voters must have a registered account that was created on or before November 1, 2008.
  • Voters must have made 150 edits to articles on that account on or before November 1, 2008.

According to an automatic check, which I confirmed by looking at your contribution history, you have not met the requirements. Either you have not made 150 edits to articles (these edits must be in the main namespace) or you did not make them before the deadline of 23:59:59 November 1, 2008 (UTC). I've indented your votes. If you believe I sent this message in error, and that you do meet the requirements, please let me know on my talk page. Thanks, ST47 (talk) 19:44, 4 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Billy Ray Cyrus: Home at Last[edit]

I have nominated Billy Ray Cyrus: Home at Last, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Billy Ray Cyrus: Home at Last. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. AfD nomination of Princess Protection Program[edit]

An article that you have been involved in editing, Princess Protection Program, has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Princess Protection Program (3rd nomination). Thank you. What is your justification?[edit]

Why did you make this edit? How do you think this article is any different from the one that was deleted?—Kww(talk) 15:12, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, WikiProject Disney has been rather inactive recently. I saw that you are a member of the project. If you still consider yourself to be an active member, leave a response on the Project's talk page. Hopefully we can get the project up and running again. Thanks!--GroovySandwich 23:28, 29 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
