Peer Review[edit]

After reviewing the article there could be improvements made in the following areas:

The article could use a more detailed definition of PR.

The article could use additional content on the history and evolution, as well as its role in modern society and business.

The article could use some more sources to support the information.

The article could use some insight on addressing controversies and criticism.

The overall organization of the article could be improved on.

Undisclosed paid editing - do not edit again until response[edit]

Hello GarrisonCalmerDighton. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:GarrisonCalmerDighton. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=GarrisonCalmerDighton|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. Thanks for your response (noting that you replied while logged out, but from your comments I assume this is the same editor - you should always log in to your account first). As an employee, please add the paid disclosure to your profile, and please refrain from directly editing articles connected to the university. You can instead propose changes on an article's talk page. The easiest way to do that is to use the Wikipedia:Edit Request Wizard. Thanks Melcous (talk) 23:33, 2 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you - I updated my user profile, I hope it is now compliant. Can you please let me know if I need to make any changes? Also the past edits I made, do I need to make those suggestions on the talk pages or can they stay? Are there parties who check outstanding suggestions in the talk pages? That's great, thank you. I have added a connected contributor template to the talk pages of the two articles, and removed the undisclosed paid notice from them. I think the Wainright article has been reviewed and trimmed to what is neutral. I have left a paid template on the unversity article because I think it stil needs reviewing for WP:NPOV.
