Regarding your edit to Solomon's Temple: it is not a matter of accuracy but of policy. Once a particular dating style is established for an article, it is a violation of WP:MOS (specifically at WP:SEASON), to change the style. Regarding eras: "It is inappropriate for a Wikipedia editor to change from one style to another unless there is a substantive reason". If there were one, prior discussion and reaching a consensus for change on the article's talk page would be appropriate rather than making such a change unilaterally.
