Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Jenin, Jenin. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Also please do not change quotes. I did not change quotes, nor did I add commentary, my own point of view, or my own personal analysis to [:Jenin, Jenin]]. I merely added that the webpage and quotations were biased themselves and should not be taken as fact which as you've clearly mentioned for the Palestinian point of view, rendering the page extremely biased against the Palestinian civilians, meaning it is in fact you who is violating Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaching the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia.

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Jenin, Jenin, you may be blocked from editing. NJD-DE (talk) 21:00, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am not violating Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and as any work submitted to Wikipedia can be edited, used, and redistributed—by anyone, my points are just as valid as yours especially since you are not simply stating facts, but presenting them in such a way that pits one party above the other despite them already having the military and financial advantage, so no Mr. NJD-DE I will not stop :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ftuk, hjvtu (talkcontribs)

The content and neutrality of your edits are disputed. As such, you need to obtain consensus on the article talk page for the changes. Edit warring to restore the disputed content will ultimately lead to a block of your account.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 21:17, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you would like, I will try to make my edits more neutral, however outright undoing them is, in my view, unjustified Ftuk, hjvtubons mots

What I would like is for you to take your proposed changes to the talk page to determine consensus as is outlined in WP:BRD. -- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 21:28, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ftuk, hjvtu, as you mentioned you wouldn't have changed a quote I would like to hint you at the quote in the Defense section. There you changed So the residents of the refugee camp say things which sometimes are true and sometimes not. to So the residents of the refugee camp say things from their own perspective, after all, memory is subjective.. Unless correcting incorrect quotations you shouldn't refactor such quotes and add your own personal thoughts into them. NJD-DE (talk) 21:31, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

well it is mentioned that "Human Rights Watch estimates that between 53 and 56 Palestinians were killed during the Israeli offensive," where as you can clearly see in source 24 (https://www.jpost.com/Israel/Jenin-Jenin-now-in-court) it says "In the end, it emerged, according to Israeli figures, that 52 Palestinians were killed in the refugee camp, including 38 armed fighters and 14 civilians. " not only showing that there is a certain degree of bias, which you fail to mention as you state that it is from the HRW which is a non-biased third party, but the source also mentions "During the fighting in Jenin, Palestinian spokesmen, human rights organizations and foreign journalists accused Israel of conducting a civilian massacre" which you downplay as merely "Human Rights Watch investigations found "no evidence to sustain claims of massacres or large-scale extrajudicial executions by the IDF in Jenin refugee camp" although they reported that "Israeli forces committed serious violations of international humanitarian law,"

tell me that isn't biased huh --- Ftuk,hjvtu Ftuk,hjvtu (talk) 21:42, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia Wars and the Israel-Palestine Conflict...please fill out my survey?[edit]

Hello :) I am writing my MA dissertation on Wikipedia Wars and the Israel-Palestine conflict, and I noticed that you have contributed to those pages. My dissertation will look at the process of collaborative knowledge production on the Israel-Palestine conflict, and the effect it has on bias in the articles. This will involve understanding the profiles and motivations of editors, contention/controversy and dispute resolution in the talk pages, and bias in the final article.

For more information, you can check out my meta-wiki research page or my user page, where I will be posting my findings when I am done.

I would greatly appreciate if you could take 5 minutes to fill out this quick survey before 8 August 2021.

Participation in this survey is entirely voluntary and anonymous. There are no foreseeable risks nor benefits to you associated with this project.

Thanks so much,

Sarah Sanbar
