Fred Price[edit]

Hi Freddy - I keep reverting your edits because I am not sure what value they are adding to the article. If there is a good reason for your addition to the article, just let me know and I'll stop reverting it. Kevin (talk) 07:12, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Fred Price - Beamsville requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Kevin (talk) 07:14, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

your question[edit]

Wikipedia has notability standards for the subjects of articles, some of which are detailed at these links: WP:GNG and Wikipedia:Notability_(people). In a nutshell, people have to have done something that we can verify from outside sources that is in some way remarkable. The world has six or seven billion people in it; Wikipedia doesn't want to have articles about every single one, or it would get really crowded and a lot less usable. So, unless you've done something remarkable, you can't create an article about yourself (and even then, it's generally suggested that you let other people create the article about you. If you want though, you can write a little bit about yourself on your user page, which is at User:Freddyp7 Let me know if you have any other questions. Kevin (talk) 07:25, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You might want to create your article at User:Freddyp7/Fred Price - Beamsville before going live with it. That way you can get it to a point where it might survive New Page Patrol. Catfish Jim & the soapdish 07:28, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
