I hope that, notwithstanding that Frank was my grandfather, the material stands for its historic accuracy. I will add sources in due course but the websites are a start.

OK, adding sources will make the article verifiable. You might also want to read up on what are considered reliable sources.

I removed the COI tag, as your explanation and addition of references seems adequate rebuttal of the accusation, and its a decent enough article. I noticed this edit. Although I'm sure it genuinely must be in your family's possession, do we have any other reliable source to back up that claim? If its possible to give us some link, newspaper ref, anything of the sort which can establish the same, it would be better in terms of WP:V.

Duplicate images uploaded[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Tyndale arms-1-.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Tyndale Arms-1-.jpg. The copy called Image:Tyndale Arms-1-.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

Re: Tyndall image[edit]

A few things:

The image had a very restrictive license ("may not be downloaded, copied, reproduced, transmitted, stored, sold or distributed without the prior written consent of the copyright holder") and could have been speedily deleted under CSD I3.
The user was given fair warning, seven days before the deletion.
I'm one of only three admins left who work with images, and given that I handle almost 20,000 of them a week, it's completely unfeasible to run around putting notices on all relevant talk pages and interested WikiProjects while putting the backlog on hold.

If the copyright holder has licensed it under Creative Commons, could you get them to send an email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org stating this? Charles Worsley[edit]

I am about to delete the article Charles Worsley because it has copyright problems. I noticed in the history of the article that you were responsible for the majority of the section Family history, which was not tainted with the copyright problems for which I am deleting the article, so I am placing it here so that you can put it back into the article at some point.

Worsley was a son of a prosperous merchant from Manchester, Ralph Worsley of Platt Hall. He was descended from a branch of the Worsley family that settled at Booth, in Lancashire. They were descended from Sir Elias de Workesley, who settled Worsley, Lancashire (which had been the family seat for more than five hundred years).^[1] Sir Elias, who is buried at Rhodes, joined Duke Robert II of Normandy (son of King William the Conqueror of England) on the First Crusade. Worsley's great, great, great grandfather was Sir Geoffrey Worsley of Booth. Other branches of the family settled at Appuldurcombe, Isle of Wight (represented, through the female line, by the Earls of Yarborough) and Hovingham Hall, Yorkshire (including Katharine, Duchess of Kent), as well as at Platt Hall.
