Hemispherism[edit]

Just a little note. It is not summer in New Zealand, identifying a time period by a season particularly when it is not the season in the place you are referencing is problematic.Andrewgprout (talk) 07:36, 2 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I've gone ahead and undone the edit you made that introduced the reference error, not because of the reference error itself, which was pretty minor (you forgot your </ref>), but because it also introduced an error in the table itself that caused the entry you made to appear next to the last entry instead of under it. Feel free to re-add the information, but please use the Show preview button to make sure everything will appear correctly before you save your edit next time. -- Gestrid (talk) 05:15, 3 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

October 2016[edit]

Information icon Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Morgan Freeman. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. 4TheWynne(talk)(contribs) 04:51, 15 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It might have been better to cite a reliable source for that addition. Because Morgan Freeman is a living person, all Biographies of living persons policies apply (in addition to regular article policies). In this case, it means that everything in the article must have a reliable source. I apologize for the complications, but it's all in an effort to keep this from happening again. November 2016[edit]

Please do not post tennis rankings ahead of time on Wikipedia. You always have to wait for the official ATP update on Monday. The rankings are not updated daily, there is no update on 5 November 2016, Andy is still No. 2. The rankings are only updated on Monday. Thanks.—J. M. (talk) 14:51, 5 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to 9 (number). This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Sundayclose (talk) 20:08, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

New deal for page patrollers[edit]

Hi Eurocus47,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
