Hello There ESC luver. Come and join us at the Eurovision WikiProject.Blnguyen | rant-line 00:06, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Redirects[edit]

You created a page, ESC 2008, which redirected to Esc 2008, but Esc 2008 redirects to Eurovision Song Contest 2008. You need to watch out for this. A redirect to a redirect doesn't work. Everything needs to redirect to the actual article. I fixed ESC 2008 so it points directly to the Eurovision article. HTH. Fan-1967 13:40, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Logo07.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Logo07.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:09, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

First School / Lower School[edit]

Hello Esc. Saw that you had moved 'First School' content to the Lower School page, and placed a redirect at the original location. While I realise that first schools are known as lower schools in Bedfordshire, they are not know as such anywhere else in the UK any more. Consequently, while there are just 147 lower schools (all in Beds) there are far more than 150 first schools. Also, the term first school was first defined by the Plowden report in 1967. As such, I think that 'First School' is the better - more generic - location for the article. I have, therefore, put a note on the Talk:Lower_school page to say that I plan to move the content back and put the redirect in the other direction. Hope you don't mind. AfD nomination of Station Road, Dunstable[edit]

An editor has nominated Station Road, Dunstable, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Station Road, Dunstable and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. Orphaned non-free image (Image:D'NASH.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:D'NASH.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 05:49, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi buddy, welcome to Wikipedia :-) - I noticed this edit [1]. When we go to add notable residents of a town or a place or whatever we try and make sure that either they have their own article and/or a citation which says why they're notable for living there. Just thought I'd clear this up with you :-) If you have any questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact me. ScarianTalk 17:16, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I do not wish to engage in an edit war with you. Please feel free to add her back in with a citation, buddy. ScarianTalk 17:32, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Queensbury logo.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Queensbury logo.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 19:31, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
