2046 FIFA World Cup[edit]

There have been numerous articles about future sports competitions projected to take place decades in the future, and one after another they have been deleted after deletion discussions. This one will be deleted too. Please don't make it necessary for editors to spend time on discussing it by contesting the deletion. All time spent on such pointless discussions could instead have been spent on more constructive work for the encyclopaedia. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 20:34, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

JamesBWatson, why do you want to delete my newest wikipedia page? what is wrong with it? how come other soccer tournaments that will occur 3 decades from now like 2038 and 2042 still have a page? please dont delete this page, because i am trying to get as much information as possible. Esau Benitez J. 2 (talk) 20:41, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The article has no sources. How do we know for example, that the event will be held in Egypt, as the article claims? We need substantial coverage of the event in reliable sources to demonstrate notability - that is, specific discussion of the 2046 tournament, with ample detail about which teams will appear, where it will be held, etc. This information does not yet exist, so we cannot include it. As for your argument that other similar pages exist, even were that a valid argument (which it isn't), at least some of those pages are also currently under discussion for deletion. Having said all of which, if you wish to challenge the deletion, and can provide a good argument as to why the article should be kept, and how detailed sources can be included in it, then you need to do so here, not on this Talk page. Anaxial (talk)

Here are the sources, just scroll down to the 3rd one https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/future-world-cup-hosts-2026-2030-2034-etc-where-does-australia-fit-in.781092/ Esau Benitez J. 2 (talk) 21:39, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The source is not reliable Hhkohh (talk) 23:54, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Denis Kopotun requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. July 2018[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Tuesday, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Please discuss your change on the talk page before re-instating. Most counting of days start the week on Monday. Tarl N. (discuss) 15:47, 5 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Also, the paragraph in question says specifically that it is according to ISO 8601 it is the second day of the week. noq (talk) 17:18, 5 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Esau Benitez J. 2, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as EsauBJ4611 (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who use multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. –Fredddie 00:40, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Fredddie i'm not using multiple accounts, instead these are the accounts I used to use because I had forgotten my password on all of them.
Considering the edit histories of both accounts overlap, I'm inclined to not believe you. –Fredddie 01:57, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
What do you mean? The last time I used EsauBJ4611 was like 2 or 3 months ago!
Your first edit from this account was on 12 June - this edit. You were still using EsauBJ4611 ten days later, on 22 June - this edit. That undermines the credibility of your statement that you created this account because you forgot your old account's password. Tarl N. (discuss) 02:17, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Mexican Federal Highway 134. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You cannot simply add your opinions. You may only document what has been published elsewhere. Tarl N. (discuss) 16:17, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

  • Your edits are disruptive - you don't seem to understand what you are doing, please stop until you have read Wikipedia's policies. Tarl N. (discuss) 16:19, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I don't really think they are completely disruptive, plus i've even been on the highway 5 times, in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017. I know it's very curvy. Correct me if they are disruptive. And I'm sorry.

The point you are missing is that your personal experience has no place in Wikipedia. Everything is required to be sourced. You cannot say "the curviest" just because you've been on the highway and you think it is curvy. Any statement of fact must be traced to a reliable source - See WP:RS. That is a failrly restrictive form of publication, not everything you find on the internet qualifies. And your personal opinion definitely does not. Please read the policy.
The "disruptive" edit was the one you made to Lotsee, Oklahoma - here. You changed the field which documented what the estimate provided referred to, without providing a new estimate (and a new source). Instead, you left the article claiming that the 2015 estimate was for 2017.
Until you understand more about what you are doing, and have read the Wikipedia policies, please stop making edits which damage articles. Tarl N. (discuss) 04:09, 13 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Esau Benitez J. 2. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Oklahoma State Highway 650".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 11:06, 15 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Mvcg66b3r. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, KOTV-DT, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 04:34, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you watch KOTV-DT and (I hope you do) you will see an ad saying that on August 5th, 2019 News on 6 is creating a 4PM newscast that will run from 4pm cdt to 5pm cdt. The ad said it would move dr phil to 3pm cdt

I have sent you a note about a page you started[edit]

Thanks for creating List of countries by population in 500 BC.

You broke a bunch of articles[edit]

You broke the reference section in your oklahoma edits on September 6. Please fix all of those edits, per https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Esau_Benitez_J._2

My following edit is an example of what you need to do to convert an article to 2020 census.

Zacapuato, Guerrero moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Zacapuato, Guerrero, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
