Hey there,

I would like to give you some feedback. I really enjoied to read your improvements. I hope you understand my feedback and if you have any questions, ask me please!

Peer Review 1/1 The student has improved the quality of the information available in this article 1/1 The student has improved the clarity and/or organization of the content .5/1 The student has clearly explained the method and findings of an empirical paper 1/1 The student has correctly cited the empirical paper according to Wikipedia guidelines, and the paper is appropriate (i.e., it is an empirical study on development published the results in an academic journal) Comments and Suggestions for Improvement: Facial and Physiological Arousal • I like the article you added. I think it is an interesting research and improves the article a lot because a part about the physiological arousal and facial expression had missed before and it is an important aspect of sympathy. I would like to learn more about why the heart rate decreases when you feel sympathy. • I think it is good that you put your part about the article right after the “communication” part because it completes that aspect. • You wrote that mood and distress was measured, too. I think that is only important to know when you explain why it was measured. Child development • I think the important aspect about altruistic behavior is that you do not get anything from it (except feeling better because you helped). You are only doing it to help someone else. I think you could highlight that a little bit more. • You explain that sympathy cannot be measured with self-reported questionnaire so I am asking myself how it is measured instead. Do you have any information about that? Then you could just add one more sentence. • I would change the order of the sections you added because in the first one about prosocial and altruistic behavior I was asking myself about the connection to child development. It only gets clear when you read the rest of it.

• I like that you used the one reference to improve more parts in the article. • I like the way you explain in a really short way. That is just enough to understand it and get a short impression of the aspects and I think that it exactly what Wikipedia wants to do.

Wikipedia Education Program: student survey![edit]

Hi! I work with the Wikipedia Education Program, and I'm hoping to get your feedback about your experience this semester! In order to help other students like you enjoy editing while contributing positively to Wikipedia, it would be very helpful to hear from real program students about their experience, so we know what to change. The survey takes no more than 10 minutes, and I'd really appreciate your response!

Thanks so much! JMathewson (WMF) (talk) 20:56, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
