Help Wanted[edit]

I am having a dispute with the user Tanizaki over what i consider racist insults made by him against me which he has refused to apologies for. I am looking for at least 2 people to try and settle the dispute with out having to go in to a RFC. Message me if interested.- I AM TAKING YOUR ADVICE AND INGNORING IT FOR THE PRESENT.

Editorial comments on Tanizaki's vote on SD.net VfD[edit]

Hi. Striking one of Tanizaki's votes because he voted twice was appropriate. Adding editorial comments implying that he is a shifty, no-good weasel who is trying to sneak in two votes was inappropriate. Particularly when the edit history clearly indicates that the second vote was placed there because an anon removed his name from the first vote. When in doubt, please assume good faith. I have removed your editorial comments and replaced them with less inflammatory explanations. Thanks in advance for helping to maintain a civil tone. Genesis missles are simple to produce in star trek. It is the research which takes time, and it has been done. Star Trek impulse drives travel up past ninety percent of the speed of light, far faster than star wars ships. Star Wars shields are generally weaker than Star Trek shields. Beaming through them would be relatively simple. The modified Voyager would rip apart a Star Destroyer, due to its further futuristic technology and Borg modifications. The Borg are centuries ahead of anyone else, and have almost unlimited resources/troops/ships to throw at enemies, though they seldom do due to the fact they expand slowly. They can also refill their ranks with their enemies, and will adapt to any type of energy/laser type weapon after five shots (the whole collective), and Star Wars has shown no capability of remodulating their weaponry without taking it apart, whereas Star Trek can do it in seconds. The Federation has enough ships to defend themselves long enough to bring out heavy weaponry. Please corraborate your research on Star Wars having cloaking devices. Star Trek has far better sensor technology than Star Wars. The Star Wars galaxy is self-evidently very small, as the official speed for hyperdrive is 1.5 times the speed of light. The milky way is very large as a galaxy. There are far more introduced Star Trek species than Star Wars species, so Star Trek could win by sheer force of numbers. Star Trek's sociopolitical tendencies have a higher rate of cultural and technological developement than Star Wars, and so would develop new technologies faster. Time travel in Star Trek has gone back farther than the modern day by billions of years in Star Trek (All Good Things). Even a few hundred years is an awesome advantage. Imagine losing a battle, then sending back orders through time to divert more ships there before the battle to win the battle. Or sending an asteroid back through time to appear right where an enemy ship was. If the Scimitar thaylaron weaponry was used in more ships with slightly less foolhardy crews and cloaks that good, it would make a significant advantage. Star Trek has replicators, which would allow a definate advantage when it came to food. Significantly less resources would have to be spent on food production, and it would be nearly impossible to starve out a Star Trek planet in a seige.

Replicate mobile emitters and set them to create fighters. They could disguise themselves as any type of fighter (including x wings and ties), and though their weapon systems would be pitifully weak, that wouldn't particularly matter, as a single ship could carry hundreds of thousands or even millions of them. A little bit adds up. They would need a power source added on. It could work though, due to the nature of Star Trek holograms. They could also be used for soldiers. Also, they could fly invisible or as themselves, using the hologram for propulsion, and be undetectable, and appear in enemy lines. I just logged into wikipedia for the first time in some years. I attempted to edit a page only to see a message reading "5.81.128.0/17 has been blocked (disabled) by Diannaa" because of "block evasion" by someone named MariaJaydHicky. As I've said, I haven't logged-in in years and have only made a few ip edits. Could someone help me fixing this situation. If not, can someone advice what I should do?

Sounds to me like you would need IP block exemption. Admins here don't make rangeblocks lightly specifically because of the risk of collateral damage. —Jeremy v^_^v ^Bori! 17:27, 27 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
