You may not know that Wikipedia has both an LGBT Notice Board and an LGBT Studies WikiProject. If you haven't yet done so, take a look at both of them. They sorely need attention and participation! FFOZ

I'm a close supporter of FFOZ. I would like to expand the article on FFOZ, but my hands are full with the whole Messianic Judaism project here on wiki. It would be a blessing if you could help expand any article as you see fit. Thanks for all your help! We need you. When people first hear of Messianic Judaism, many I've noticed have gone to wikipedia for their information. Drew Article

Here are the comments I left when I assessed the article:

I rated this as "Start for several reasons. First off, the lead paragraph needs work. It states that Drew was involved in the development of blood banks, but the body of the article doesn't support that assertion. Also, you need a lot more inline citations--at least one per paragraph is the suggestion.

The "Death section could be more tightly edited. The area of how expert drivers might have been able to get out of that predicament is just conjecture. Like they say on Dragnet, "Just the facts, M'am".

I also noticed a lot of typos and punctuation errors. This article needs a good copy editing. I did find it very interesting, and look forward to reading it again when it is more polished. Jeffpw 20:59, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

Sure, thank you for your honesty. It helps. If everyone else was as honest, we could get on with the real issues and not attack valid, well referenced articles.

Oh, yeah? Prove it. That ClickZ article reference is from 1999. If they accepted press releases, don't you think Ad-Up would have re-posted a newer press release by now?

Perhaps they accept press releases now, but the historical listings are valid.

Hi, ElaraGirl! And thank you for the great welcome note. I'm pretty new here, and kind of an embarrassing dunce at my computer (looking at my keyboard, I don't even see where the tildes are. Durn Mac). You sound incredibly cool; I don't know what Messianic Jews are, but that dwarf game sounds like it's right up my alley. Have you ever heard of Rogue or FantaSoft? I used to play them alot, until I figured out how to cheat the game, and then, well, it wasn't as much fun anymore.  :)

I'm also in my 30's, but with TWO daughters. Ten years from now: Two teenage girls at the same time. Yay, me. <eye roll>

I have just placed this notice on the Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nikhil Parekh page, and am bringing every voter's attention to it as promised.

Comment. Sigh. Despite the inevitable tirade that this will unleash, I am sorry to have to bring new information to the table. I have this morning received an email from Vijaya Ghose, editor of the Limca Book of Records. "Dear Mr (----), We have enlisted a couple of claims of Nikhil Parekh. Longest Poem is not one of them. He has formidable competition in John Milton's Paradise Lost and our own Mahabharata. However, he has written to many heads of state and has received replies but not from the head of state but the secretary or executive assistant. He is is the first from India to feature on Eppie. We checked with them. Regards Vijaya Ghose. So Parekh, though probably not notable as a poet, is indeed an Indian world record holder. I suspect that this changes the balance on his notability, though the article would still require a great deal of clear-up. I will notify everyone who took part in this vote and ask admins to extend debate a little. Sorry.
