Deletion discussion about What is considered as pornography?[edit]

Hello, EducateAmerica,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether What is considered as pornography? should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/What is considered as pornography? .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks, Mr. Guye (talk) 01:19, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

    • We already have an article on pornography, called Pornography. It includes a lot of detail about what is and is not pornography. As with any other article on Wikipedia, please feel free to contribute to that article, but only if you can cite reliable, verifiable independent sources. "My interview with a deputy sheriff" is not verifiable by other readers, and so is not useful as a source on Wikipedia. See WP:RS. NawlinWiki (talk) 01:37, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

We have read it, as well as others. How are you sure that your readers comprehend it. What we have is point blank. People understand it. It is represented by the law system, unlike a lot of other resources. Not to mention, it's up to date. Many teens and young adults are being arrested for not knowing what contributes an image as pornography. We are pretty sure they would rather have a point blank system to judge if a photo is considered as pornography rather than having to read an entire page. It's about what the people want.

      • We have no way of judging if you are "the people" or if you really know "what the people want". Rather than having to decide if you're right, we rely on whether you can show us verifiable, independent sources. Again, please read WP:RS and WP:V. Also, if you're concerned that our article is too complicated, see the article "Pornography" in the Simple English Wikipedia. NawlinWiki (talk) 01:53, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You don't seem to get it. Since you completely fail to understand our point of view, we will take our valuable information elsewhere. Thank you.
