Removing Speedy at His Eminence Allama Maulana Qamaruzzaman Azmi[edit]

The page His Eminence Allama Maulana Qamaruzzaman Azmi has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be blatant advertising which only promotes something, and which is unlikely to be suitable for an article (or at best would need a fundamental rewrite). Wikipedia is not a medium for promotion of anything, whether a company, product, group, service, person, religious or political belief, or anything else. Thanks for uploading File:Allama Maulana Qamaruzzaman Azmi.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

Hi,i've seen you contribution to World Islamic Mission and alias.But i think the article about Allama Azmi need to be rewritten with exact citations and without bare and mirror links.Also i've created Category:World Islamic Mission both on wikipedia & wikimedia and i'm adding pages to it. please would you add every image related to it?Because Two heads are better than one... Qamaruzzaman Azmi[edit]

On Qamaruzzaman Azmi, MezzoMezzo has provided a large number of policy compliant reasons for removing much of that material. A very large portion of what he removed was "verified" by sources that do not meet WP:RS (for example, self-published websites, Facebook, You tube, etc.). Please go to Talk:Qamaruzzaman Azmi and discuss the matter. In the mean time, please never call another editors good faith contributions "vandalism"--doing that is considered to be a personal attack and thus forbidden per WP:NPA. MezzoMezzo has not provided as claimed "a large number of policy compliant reasons for removing much of that material". He has used words like "crap", "rubbish" etc etc. Such methods of editing is vandalism and forbidden per WP:NPA.

Um, try reading policies before you refer to them. WP:NPA says "No personal attacks". Calling information in an article "Crap" is not a personal attack, because it's talking about the article content, not the editor who wrote it. Second, it's not vandalism--it's someone removing content that is incompatible with our policies and guidelines. Now, I do agree that MezzoMezzo, after being reverted, should have given a more detailed explanation on the article's talk page, which I've advised him to do. However, do not call his edits vandalism--that only refers to deliberate attempts to make Wikipedia worse, which is very much not what MM is doing.

Finally, please sign your posts on article talk and user talk pages by adding four tildes (~~~~) at the end of the them, so that your name and time/date of posting are automatically added. Qwyrxian (talk) 01:50, 16 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
