Collaborating on Robots?[edit]

If you want to work together, let's do it!

RelentlessRouge 20:09, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Drewdy, what's the name of the page?
RelentlessRouge 20:11, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Drewdy. I'm NOT BY ANY MEANS an expert on Robots. Start the page sbd let's go...
RelentlessRouge 20:15, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Drewdy! After this message I will be taking a wikibreak. I have edited for several hours, so,... right. Ok. As I said before: "I'm NOT BY ANY MEANS an expert on Robots." I will try to contribute, but you are definately far more knowledgable about that topic than I. I will try to Wikify it, though.
RelentlessRouge 20:31, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
And by the way, next time, on talk pages, try to leave a line between every comment. You also can use # in front of every comment to denote the number. If that was used, then it'd look like: 1. Comment ABC (line) 2. Comment DEF (line), etc... Or else, you can use colons to indent. To see what I mean, look at the coding for all my comments to you.
See ya later, RelentlessRouge

Robots (film) collaboration[edit]

Here we go... I Wikified Fender (robots).

RelentlessRouge 02:15, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Drewdy. I would not recommend use of the words fictional robot character on your Robots articles. Many people, including administrators, would interpret this as a character that you invented that has to do with the movie. I would recommend the following:
Fender is a [[fictional character|robot character]] that
I'll be Wikifying other Robots articles.
Sincerely, RelentlessRouge 11:01, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Cheers, Drewdy! I've been looking over the article "Robots (film)". It appears to me that the "plot" section was directly taken off of the back cover of the D.V.D. I would like to mention that summary would be more appropriately filed under a "summary" section. More background is also needed for the movie. In addition, there are many red links. It would be best if you could either remove them or create articles for them. Also, I would also like to add that the "DVD release" section is only one line, which fails to justify its existance. I will move the sentence up to the introductory paragraph. Finally, I will add a {{seealso|Robots (soundtrack)}} tag up on the top and delete the one-line "soundtrack" section. Let's work together!

Please don't do this ever again[edit]

All Star (Spoof Version)[edit]

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article All Star (Spoof Version), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:All Star (Spoof Version). If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Sonic Riders 2[edit]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:NOT#Wikipedia_is_not_a_crystal_ball

Please read this. Information you have added and re-added to Sonic Riders 2 is against Wikipedia guidelines and do not belong in the article. BlazeHedgehog 16:43, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Speaking of which, I have promoted the article as a Speedy Deletion candidate, the reason being that this article was created before, based solely on the interview in Eurogamer, and that simply isn't enough information to base a full article on; as such, the article was debated, and it was decided to DELETE it. Because you have recreated the article with no new verifiable information, this article has insufficient backing, and should be deleted. For reference, here is the page on Wikipedia's Speedy Deletion Criteria. -- VederJuda 17:51, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Spinach with Chocolate Sauce[edit]

Thank you for your work on Spinach with Chocolate Sauce. Unfortunately, not all articles are suitable for Wikipedia. If you want to add articles on books, you might want to look at WP:Notability for some guidelines on what is and is not encyclopedic. --Bookgrrl 01:11, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've nominated the article Spinach with Chocolate Sauce for deletion under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Spinach with Chocolate Sauce satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. I have explained why in the nomination space (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Spinach with Chocolate Sauce. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them. You are free to edit the content of Spinach with Chocolate Sauce during the discussion, but please do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top). Doing so will not end the discussion. ... discospinster talk 13:22, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please Use Edit Summaries[edit]

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. Squirepants101 02:00, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Network Business Solutions, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. thadius856talk|airports|neutrality 17:24, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Naked Brothers Band.[edit]

I see that you have created a lot of articles about songs from The Naked Brothers Band. I would suggest that instead of making a bunch of individual articles that are very shor that you create a single article that incorporates all of the articles. I would strongly suggest you do that because these articles have very little chance of being expanded and by having one article it will be easier to access all of the songs as opposed to have to open up a new page every time a different song is mentioned. If you have any questions please let me know. --Tainter 16:08, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:CrazyCarAlbum.GIF[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:CrazyCarAlbum.GIF. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Orphaned fair use image (Image:BadToThePhone.GIF)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:BadToThePhone.GIF. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. ==Hemlock Hall==

A tag has been placed on Hemlock Hall, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Club Penguin Locations, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Club Penguin Locations satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Club Penguin Locations and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). A tag has been placed on Club Penguin Locations, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Club Penguin Locations is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:Club Penguin Locations saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Notability[edit]

We welcome your help to create new content, but your recent additions, such as those you made to Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, do not assert the notability of their subjects and have been reverted or removed. Such character information is unnecessary and is already emphasized enough in the article. FMF 00:00, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

reversion?[edit]

As you left no edit summary, why did you revert the redirection of the article: eBay (song)? There was previously an WP:AFD discussion on this (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/EBay (song)); because the article has no reliable sources or evidence of notability, the result was to merge and redirect to the album. — pd_THOR | =/\= | 19:46, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

FYI..... Cover versions and Remixes do not get their own separate song articles. I've merged the Travis Barker information (including the infobox) into the original article. Please add any additional information there instead. Thanks - eo 22:58, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Nintendo Force Logo.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Nintendo Force Logo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:06, 15 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
