English exonyms[edit]

Thank you for your contributions on English exonyms. One question on Üsküdar/Scutari. Is Scutari really an exonym or is it "just" the historical name, i.e. is Scutari used in any context other than a historical one ? Travelbird 15:24, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good question. I honestly couldn't say that it is used other than in a historical context. But I doubt whether there are that many people who discuss the place in any other context, other than English speakers living in the area - and the chances are that they use the local name.
