Notability vs. importance[edit]

No one's suggesting that you're not important. Notability standards on Wikipedia are there for your protection as well as for the betterment of the site. Without proper attribution, we have no way of verifying if biographical data is true, a situation that both compromises the site and has the potential for libelling people. Your article was marked for speedy deletion because, in my estimation, it clearly has no chance of gaining attribution, unless you do something in the future that does gain attention from reputable media sources (in the meantime, Wikipedia is not a crystal ball). Copyrighted pictures with out Fair use rationale[edit]

I take the liberty to asnwer the question you posted on BetaCommands user page. Your images has been tagged by a bot because they are tagged to be images with copyright. A bot does not have the ability to delete images from wikipedia, only an administrator does. The tags mean that your images wil go through a review by an administrator to see if there is Fair use explantion on the page.
This means you need to go the page and ad a fair use rationale to the pictures. Please do not remove the notice posted by the bot, the reviewing admin will do it.

Hi Dr. Pizza,

Regarding the commentary you left on my User page. It appears you have mis-interpreted my edit comment. At the time, I actually thought you were a member of the band (After re-reading your edit comment just now, I see that is not the case). So, my point was that everyone needs to follow the wikipedia guidelines about only including encyclopedic content - even if the subject of the article is the editor. By no means did I mean to suggest that you were a "nobody" as you stated.

If you reply, please do so on my talk page at User talk:Roswell native rather than my User page as you did previously, and please sign your comments. I am going to move your previous statement to my talk page as well.

Finally, please remember Wikipedia:Civility is a policy (a widely accepted standard that all users should follow). I assumed good faith in your edit; however, I did think it was non-encyclopedic and didn't belong in the article so I removed it. Lawsuits?[edit]

At least one of my online associates has been victimized byt ED & has threatened legal action. These guys posted up nude photos of him & his art without his permission. They also say slanderous untrue things about web selebrities. There's no way this place hasn't been under a constant barage of legal action like Pirate Bay.

Under what criteria did you speedy delete the article Winnipeg NHL Team. This deletion was executed without prior notification, discussion, or opportunity to challenge such deletion. I have read Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion, but I cannot find any criteria that allows an administrator to unilaterally speedy delete a well-referenced article about a subject which meets the General notability guidelines. I've just see your edit to Cinderella (sports), I don't think the section on the LA Kings was removed because they weren't believed to be a "Cinderella" team. I think it was removed as part of a generally trimming of the article. The article only lists examples of "Cinderella" teams, given the somewhat subjective nature of what constitutes a "Cinderella" team an encyclopaedia can never hope to lists all "Cinderella" teams. There was an excessive number of teams listed, so a decision was made to cut the number of teams down to 1 or 2 teams, and remove the rest. The decision was taken to remove teams/paragraphs that did not have multiple independant sources citing the team as a "Cinderella" team. Due to the subjective nature of the topic, it can't possibly cover every case of a potential Cinderella team and there are already a number of Ice Hockey examples listed. ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
