hi -- glad to see you're doing new page patrol! I removed your prod from Hypnolovewheel, since I think they are clearly notable (five albums, three on a well-known label). Darryl Beamish[edit]

Hello. The reason I deleted your article is because it was an introductory sentence and an external link, nothing more. Total content less the link was: ""Darryl Beamish is a deaf mute who wrongfully spent 16 years in jail for alleged murder." That's a speedy deletion under criterion A1 for lack of content/context. It's also a speedy as a placeholder for an external link. AfD is generally used when there's a question of notability and suitability for an article. A good stub article needs to be at least six to eight sentences long, but you can generally get away with three or four. In short, anyone reseraching Darryl Beamish already knows of his plight. It's up to you, the contributor, to tell that person more about him withuot sending that someone off of the site. Hope this helps; just keep a cool head when editing, though.   • With all due respect, it's up to the original author to supply enough information before adding a stub template. There are also a couple of rules of conduct regarding your interaction with other users, namely WP:CIVIL and WP:NPA. If you have a concern, that's OK. Just don't come on my talk page accusing me of deleting your contribution out of process. If I hadn't done it, odds are another admin would have.
