Octagon house etc[edit]

Hi, i replied to your note at Talk:List of octagon houses#Yet Another NY Octagon House. I do hope you'll go ahead and open an article, add a pic, etc. doncram (talk) 06:29, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. You should feel free to remove the 2005-dated welcome to you on your User page, and just put anything there you like to state. That welcome note looks out of place there, and these days would only be put onto a user's Talk page like this one, rather than on their User page.

Welcome to Wikipedia![edit]

Hello Dmnapolitano, welcome to Wikipedia!

Here are some tips:

If you feel a change is needed, feel free to make it yourself! Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone (yourself included) can edit any article by following the Edit this page link. Wikipedia convention is to be bold and not be afraid of making mistakes. If you're not sure how editing works, have a look at How to edit a page, or try out the Sandbox to test your editing skills.

If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else to do it. Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance, Alf 00:02, 29 August 2005 (UTC).[reply]

There's a new bonus prize of $200 worth of books of your choice to win for creating the most new women biographies between 0:00 on the 26th and 23:59 on 30th November. If you've been contributing to the contest, thank you for your support, we've produced over 2000 articles. If you haven't contributed yet, we would appreciate you taking the time to add entries to our articles achievements list by the end of the month. Thank you, and if participating, good luck with the finale!
