August 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, Dario T. de Castro. We welcome your contributions, but it appears as if your primary purpose on Wikipedia is to add citations to research published by a small group of researchers.

Scientific articles should mainly reference review articles to ensure that the information added is trusted by the scientific community.

Editing in this way is also a violation of the policy against using Wikipedia for promotion and is a form of conflict of interest in Wikipedia – please see WP:SELFCITE and WP:MEDCOI. The editing community considers excessive self-citing to be a form of spamming on Wikipedia (WP:REFSPAM) and the edits will be reviewed and the citations removed where it was not appropriate to add them.

Finally, please be aware that the editing community highly values expert contributors – please see WP:EXPERT. I do hope you will consider contributing more broadly. If you wish to contribute, please first consider citing review articles written by other researchers in your field and which are already highly cited in the literature. If you wish to cite your own research, please start a new thread on the article talk page and add {{requestedit}} to ask a volunteer to review whether or not the citation should be added.

Dear XOR'easter, perhaps I have been too naive or even too impulsive in these two tentative contribution attempts (Binomial Coefficients and Pascal's Triangle). Another kind editor/moderator rejected last week a similar text of mine in the Pascal's Triangle section. I tried this time to express the idea more convincently as a property of the rows of Pascal's Triangle (prime factorization of n in the entries of the n-th row). I must say that I still think that there is a sound reason to include the contribution and I also think that my paper was clearly and sufficiently peer-reviewed. Additionally, I believe that there is no review article in which the result I demonstrate is stated. However I would like to thank you for the revision and also for the decision.
Congratulations to all the team for the beautiful building this encyclopedia is for all of us. With kind regards, Dario. Dario T. de Castro (talk) 01:38, 20 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Moved edit requests to talk page[edit]

Hi Dario! I've moved your edit requests to Talk:Binomial coefficient. Generally those should go on a talk page so that we can see all the conversations about the article in one place, and interested editors can address it. Rusalkii (talk) 04:36, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, very much, Rusalkii. Best wishes.Dario T. de Castro (talk) 10:44, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
