If you are the ICT person, then surely, you can just upload the latest end of term letter (which incidentally is missing) to it's usual location on the website? - Alphaceo (talk) 13:00, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate messages[edit]

May I suggest that you remove the duplicate messages from User talk:Alphaceo (giving an edit summary to explain what you're doing)? Normally it wouldn't be acceptable to remove messages posted from another account, but it seems to be sufficiently obvious that both of the IP addresses were yours, and the duplicate messages do make the thread difficult to read.

And while I'm here, thank you for providing the information which will hopefully resolve the problem. I hope that those who posted information which apparently totally misrepresented the letter from the HM will apologise for the confusion which they caused. This is a good reminder of why Wikipedia's policy is that information should be backed up by references to published reliable sources. Rumours are not a sound foundation upon which to build an encyclopedia. - David Biddulph (talk) 16:18, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi David, those double posts have been removed, didn't realise you could just remove them! We've not had an apology yet, I think we'll be waiting a while to be honest! It sounds like it's someone who didn't like the headmasters idea much using wikipedia to vent their frustration, rather than doing it through the appropriate channels. Hopefully that will be an end of it now! DanielCooling OSICT (talk) 11:34, 9 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Just read the 'scrap' about this. To add to Dan's observations, I'm a member of staff at Oswestry school. For the record, Douglas Robb has announced that Bellan is closing to us staff and to various parents. Oswestry is a small place. Maybe one day he'll understand that. And as to addressing concerns through "appropriate channels"? That's worked out well for those who dare to question him hasn't it? That's assuming you can find a moment when he is permanently on 'transmit'. 86.142.154.21 (talk) 17:26, 11 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I'm a bit concerned that someone (I suspect from the school) seems to be trying to start another 'edit war'. Why is the school so ashamed of the proposed changes? If Bellan closes as a Prep School and re-opens as a sixth form centre why the huge attempt to 'hide' this? Alphaceo (talk) 20:00, 14 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
