A tag has been placed on Denan James Levi Charles requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Pichpich (talk) 15:09, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Jack King (footballer) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG and WP:NFOOTBALL.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Re: Jeffrey Monakana & Jack King[edit]

Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. We have specific guidelines as to which subjects should and should not have articles. This is called notability. Subjects which have received significant coverage in reliable sources are considered notable. There is also a football specific guideline, which says that footballers are notable if they have played in a fully pro league. For England this means playing in a league fixture in League Two or higher, or an FA Cup fixture between to clubs playing in the top four divisions. The guideline explicitly excludes the case of these two players, saying that players who have signed but not played in a competitive fixture are not notable. In this regard, pre-season friendlies do not count as competitive matches. The fact that they cannot have played a league fixture yet is all the more reason that they should not have articles, at least not yet. The articles may, of course, be recreated if and when they make their respective debuts for Preston North End.

On an unrelated point, when posting things to a talk page or to a discussion, please type for tildes (~~~~) after your post. Doing so displays your username and the time and date. Doing so makes easier to determine who said what and when. Best Regards. Sir Sputnik (talk) 03:34, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, you win, the articles are back :) Could you note the deletion and recrations on the talk pages, (and maybe add some more citations?) Mark Arsten (talk) 19:33, 13 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No probs, how do I do that, I'll add more Citations after the match, Monakana is having an amazing game, I'll thank him for the info he provided on twitter later, and Jack king, Scored on his full Debut tonight ;) Half time Preston 2 - 0 Huddersfield! Booyah ;)

RE: User:SonicElise[edit]

Hello. The data that was posted on Wikipedia was potentially damaging, as it contained a lot of personal information that is not safe for publication. The person in question is not quite yet notable enough for an article of her own. Please have a look at our notability guidelines for more information. — foxj 11:03, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Has my request gone through yet? I've received no replies for my undelete request! Failing that, can I have my source code for it back, he is a Blackpool player and a Northern Ireland U19 international, who recently played in the U20's milk cup[1], and he's my nephew. I had the same problems when I did Jeffrey Monakana & Jack King's pages. DaPlayerX (talk) 09:29, 4 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
