The reason this account was blocked:

A Wikipedia account is only to be used by one person.

From this, I concluded that the account had been registered for the use of the firm as a whole. If the account is identified as belonging to "we", then that's more than one person, and the account gets blocked.

Based on your e-mail in which you promised that you're the only person using the account, I'm going to unblock you. I was going to tell you that you'd better edit your userpage so as to make it clear that you are one person, not a marketing firm, but Mean as custard already blanked it. Comment I was also blocked from Wikipedia a couple of months ago, and was also confused about the reason I was blocked. Actually I am still not sure what the problem was and why I was eventually unblocked. I was very surprised to find out that one can get quietely blocked on Wikipedia without any due process with only one individual admin doing the blocking (I think?). Re: In this case, I was able to find out what happened thanks to DragonflySixtyseven. But Mean as custard blanked my userpage before I had a chance to change it. I did a bit of searching on Mean as custard and found out that its a "she" (of course, unconfirmed, but reading some of the comments that's the feeling I had) and apparently married to someone important in Wikipedia and has upset other users before, while the actions of that user may be "right" the procedures are less than polite. It doesn't matter who Mean as custard is, but the fact that this user blanked without warning a page that had been online for months for a policy issue that can be debated if I was actually breaking or not. Not even a fair warning, DragonflySixtyseven was most gracious to first warn me and if I had been allowed, I would have made the changes necessary for the userpage to comply. DragonflySixtyseven procedure was much more in tune to what you expect from an institution like Wikipedia.
