Speedy deletion of Afterall[edit]

A tag has been placed on Afterall requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. List of contributors (Afterall)[edit]

1. Is it really necessary to list every single one? Maybe list only the "notable" ones (i.e. the ones with links, or, if you think still especially notable, use a redlink).

2. Even if so, would it be better to actually use a "List of contributors to xxx" page separately? Though I am not sure whether Wikipedia frowns on these.

Also, note that you only need one vertical space between paragraphs.

I think your COI is valid, and I thank you for posting it on the talk page not the main article (i.e. as clutter).

This article is just being born, and I think a little leeway is helpful-- the main contributor seems the best source and nothing he has put has been unverifiable by me using other sources; unfortunately I didn't think they came under the realm of "reliable sources", that's the next hurdle. I also want specific dates etc for issues. I think in time this article can be a valued addition. Sheesh they only do three a year I used to do one a week and hold down a real job at the same time. :) OK it's my birthday just a bitch there :)

Linking in to the various artists and publications, universities etc I think has been helpful and established this is not the Big Issue here. From the mix of red and blue it does seem they have a lot of notable contributors. It is not my line of country, thus I have never read it and don't subscribe to the kind of library that would stock it, so I certainly have no COI (not that you were suggesting I did) but I tried to knock it into shape a bit: from experience I know the first edit is really hard just to learn the metadata and the templates etc (and I'm a software engineer, syntax ain't the problem, lack of help is the problem).

Cover pictures[edit]
