Notability of Erzsébet Cseszneky[edit]

A tag has been placed on Erzsébet Cseszneky requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. LittleOldMe 12:35, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion contested: Kosovic[edit]

Hello Csesznekgirl, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of Kosovic, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Not nonsense - there is meaningful content. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you.  ono  15:39, 30 August 2010 (UTC

I am sorry, I am not very good at this. Anyway, would you please find the appropriate deletion category for that article. It does not meet the basic criteria, and I have the impression it is a sort of spam/scam. Thanks. --Csesznekgirl (talk) 15:43, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
PRODed. If you need help grasping the concept, read (yes, actually read; it's not fun) the actual criteria. Then, head to CAT:CSD and make sure all the nominations are correct. If you have any questions, please ask. Cheers!
Thanks a lot. --Csesznekgirl (talk) 15:49, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Kosovic[edit]

I see you tagged Kosovic for speedy deletion. The speedy deletion was declined, but the article has now gone to AfD. JamesBWatson (talk) 09:48, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, now that Civic Democratic Party is a disambig page, please remember the WP:FIXDABLINKS policy and help us clean up! Thanks, --JaGatalk 11:32, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

do you have references for Győr being the most important city in northwest Hungary. --CarTick 11:08, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like the website of the city. By the way, did you happen to visit the Ajka alumina plant accident site. what do you think about this incident? --CarTick 11:58, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
that is sad. cant believe it killed all the fishes in Marcal river. --CarTick 12:04, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
agree with the experts. it is even worse considering the large and longer impact it will have on the lives of people living by the Danube. and what happens when it reaches ocean. I dont know what else can be done. --CarTick 12:15, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Hepl[edit]

Well, this is not entirely Croatian thing. This IP user is vandalising articles related to Croatian, Bosnian, Montenegrian and others history and nobility articles, claiming they were all Serbs. Anyway, thanks for the warning! Regards, Kebeta (talk) 11:00, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please, enlighten me![edit]

Please, enlighten me (because I don’t understand Hungarian). Are the “Hunyadi” and the “Hunyady” two different families? Thank you, dear Csesznekgirl. --Gustavo Szwedowski de Korwin 05:24, 20 April 2013 (UTC)

Dear Csesznekgirl, thank you very much for your kind explanation. I thought “Hunyady” was a corruption of “Hunyadi” (perhaps under Austrian/Germanic influence). It could be… my own surname sometimes appears Germanized “Schwedowski” or “Schwedowsky” instead of the proper Szwedowski. Anyway, I did a mistake (in English wiki and in Commons) that I must fix as soon as possible. Thank you again and best wishes, --Gustavo Szwedowski de Korwin 06:09, 24 April 2013 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Wildgraves of Bakony[edit]

The article Wildgraves of Bakony has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

There is no reliable source for the very existence of this hereditary title of Hungarian nobility.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on Category:Hungarian people of Lorrainian descent requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Notice

The article Erzsébet Cseszneky has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:BIOFAMILY, WP:INVALIDBIO. Not a notable person. She is known only for being a mother of Matthias Bel. In addition, the alleged "biography" is just an unsourced hypothesis about her origin presented as fact.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
