FIA links

Hi Cs-wolves. I notice you've been fixing a number of links to FIA. In the interests of possibly saving you some effort, notice that WP:NOTBROKEN says it's fine (in fact, recommended) to leave links to redirects in place. Regards. DH85868993 (talk) 02:22, 3 February 2010 (UTC)

Entirely my goof

I apologize for being pretty damn clueless in reverting your US F1 edit. Looking at the diffs, there are significantly large chunks in the undesirable red coloring and much garble to the green and I wasn't able to match all the pieces. I also see that sources were combined where appropriate on different formats being used for different things and some accidental repeats. Normalizing all sources to one particular type is usually left up to personal editor preference to avoid later confusion, but since the majority had the expanded style already it's a net plus on the look. Again, you have my apologies. daTheisen(talk) 00:17, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Re:Talk archive navigation thingy

Thanks, I was going through my archives looking for something and remembered that I'd seen a navigation template somewhere before. As for the GP2 drivers category, I'm all for splitting it into Main and Asia subcats - I was just in lazy mode when I put the note there! And that reminds me that I have to update the List of GP2 Asia Series drivers.--Midgrid(talk) 22:37, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Nice work, thanks!--Midgrid(talk) 20:07, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
  • I see that you have replaced the ref that I inserted for the VW news with one in Spanish that therefore the vast majority of readers of the article will not be able to understand, I can see the point of adding such a ref but not replacing one that is in English? Paste Let’s have a chat. 14:39, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

Editing TFL Statewide and TANFL Seasons

I see you have made edits to the headings from Season to season. This looks rather lame I have to say, not to mention, shoddy.Forfuxake (talk) 02:27, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

Audi DTM car years

Hi. Saw that you reverted User:PrettyP's revision on changing the model year for the Audi DTM cars. I've looked into this, as I'd spotted that the cited Autosport story mentions 2008 models, and I found the official Audi release. The five drivers of older models are down as driving 2008 (R14) model, while the main 4 will drive R14 Plus models (2009?). I'm not sure whether this was something to do with a DTM development freeze or something? Thanks - mspete93 19:32, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

Re:F3000 result boxes

I don't mind, as long as the (few) result boxes that exist from the years when the series used multi-chassis/engine combinations are not affected.--Midgrid(talk) 19:29, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

Eugene Laverty

You know don't you that the link you provided is only a picture of a flag and does not contain ANY information pertaining to his licence. Not saying I'm going to revert, just that your justifying link is not supporting proof. --Falcadore (talk) 11:46, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

Driver categories

I have no real plans to make any categories at the moment, but then again I didn't create the ALMS drivers category. So you're free to do one for the other series if you want to take the time for it. The359 (Talk) 20:50, 8 March 2010 (UTC)

Chandhok

I guess you're watching the BBC coverage and saw the interview with him just now - looks like we can't trust Autosport or the BBC website anymore! :P --Midgrid(talk) 10:44, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

Collaboration

Hi! I saw you are involved in many edits like me regarding: GP2, GP3, Auto GP, Formula three series, etc. I noticed you are also interested in Formula Abarth (junior italian championship). I'm going to expand the article... all the rules I found on the official website are in italian language so I can easily work on these sections of the championship. Thank you for your great work! Giagi(talk) 12:40, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

Thanks

Haha, thanks - once I started it seemed wrong to stop. I thought it was better to do them now than to have people trying to do it in a hurry in the minutes following the chequered flag! Bretonbanquet (talk) 13:38, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

Exactly - I look forward to another season of battle with chequered flag IP randomness. Although one or two IPs have corrected a couple of boobs I made with the tables today so fair play. I saw you also picked up a mistake or two, so thanks for that :) Bretonbanquet (talk) 13:52, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
Haha, yes - I reckon between us we've done more results tables than all other editors put together! And no problem - I actually did a few tables with the car name formatted wrongly myself before I realised.. hang on a sec.. had to go back and redo them. I put it down to start-of-the-season rustiness! Bretonbanquet (talk) 14:01, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

Indy Lights

Thanks for fixing the Kimball reference that I messed up. Mercenary Roadie (talk) 21:04, 17 March 2010 (UTC)

What code did you use to hide the sections in the 2010 Indy Lights season? Again thanks for cleaning up the track information in the race results section. I realized that I had used the wrong information after it was all done and was going to change it after work. Mercenary Roadie (talk) 17:21, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

Ah, I see. Is that the Wiki markup for adding hidden comment? I would never have thought of using it that way. Thanks for the wiki lession. So much more to learn, so little brain cells left to put it in. Mercenary Roadie (talk) 17:30, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

Formula Abarth

Hi! you, me and OfficialMrX are editing the Formula Abarth section (new italian junior formula), i'm writing the same message to mrx as well.

  • How do you know BVM - Target racing has number 8 and 9?
  • Why don't we leave Teams and drivers without personal page in black? without red link! It's stupid to create a page for drivers who probably we will never see again in the future....

this is an entry level formula and only top drivers will become famous....

  • I suggest to create a page for Raffaele Marciello only, due to his involvement with Ferrari Young Drivers Academy

Giagi (talk) 13:03, 21 March 2010 (CET)

Superstars entry

Hi there. Just wondering where you found the Superstars lineup for Monza, as it doesn't quite match up with the scrolling thing on the series website. Many thanks - mspete93 18:21, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

That's alright. It pretty much matches what I found anyway. Ghedina's number is different as is the AEFFEM team name. I'll change them later. Thanks - mspete93 18:35, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

Hamilton

You're right of course - I was remembering Hamilton's own comment, but I guess he was thinking about before the collision with Webber. 4u1e (talk) 10:40, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

Not by a long way... 4u1e (talk) 10:48, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

HRT - Hispania

I reverted your change on the above subject because whether or not it ignores the discussion of the subject here it appears to, and because whether right or wrong it is not acceptable to pass a change made in the face of such discussion off as a "Minor Tweak". Britmax (talk) 14:07, 29 March 2010 (UTC)

Round by Round Entry List

The table allows the coloumn within the other table that says rounds to be referanced correctly! Its worth the bytes to make the article more transparent. Maybe it could be somehow incorporated with the rounds bit of the entry list table to give the table greater reliblity. Just a personal opinion but i don't see the problem with having more information. Plus its been on the 2009 article since the end of last season and no one has said anything... Thanks Xrateddan (talk) 13:18, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

Logo of Matra company

Hi, I would ask you to insert a picture of Matra logo into Matra article. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.40.240.88 (talk) 16:43, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

Date formats

Hey. This is no big deal but since the date linking for autoformatting purposes was deprecated, the date format you used here is ambiguous and no longer recommended (see WP:DATESNO). Prolog (talk) 19:58, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

2010 BSB table

Hi, i just noticed that you re-ordered the bottom part of the BSB table (the none points scorers). The reason they were ordered like that was thats the order they are written on the BSB website. http://www.britishsuperbike.com/media/1375923/standings.pdf I understand why you changed it because how you layed it out makes more sense but just thought i would check to see if we are correct :) Xrateddan (talk) 18:41, 21 April 2010 (UTC)

Auto GP

Hi! do you know how to watch Auto GP on TV in Italy or internationally via Hotbird 13 East satellite position or via internet for free? Giagi (talk) 14:12, 24 April 2010 (CET)

Re: Re: Auto GP

As you can see on the site, unfortunately the only uncovered nation is italy, Shit! Giagi (talk) 15:59, 24 April 2010 (CET)

2010 BF3

If you look at what you did in 2009 British Formula Three season when guest entries won a race you will see it is inconsistent with what you've done for 2010. Officially Mr X (talk) 12:57, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

No problem. Well done, you do lots of great work here. Just a heads-up, cos I don't know much about these series, there were races in 2010 Super GT season and 2010 International GT Open season this weekend that haven't been updated. Thanks. Officially Mr X (talk) 18:55, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
I try to do my best but admittedly I'm a bit lazy on the refs. Officially Mr X (talk) 19:00, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
That's true, and very inciteful about getting articles up to standard. There are definitely motorsport articles, especially driver pages, which are not only a bit sparse but also starting to fall behind in terms of regular updating. I'm not in any way saying it's your responsibility but I think it's important to express the fact. Officially Mr X (talk) 19:12, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

Re:Newsletter

I guess Senna would be the best option, as 2008 Hungarian Grand Prix was used last month and the other article which has reached a milestone, List of Formula One fatal accidents, doesn't really work because it's in list form.--Midgrid(talk) 18:44, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

Newman/Haas Racing

Hello Cs-wolves. Are you able to move the article Newman/Haas/Laningan Racing (and its history) to Newman/Haas Racing. I tried it, but it does not work. --Gamma127 (talk) 21:00, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
