January 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Chilling Effects, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. • Please give a clear explaination on how the edit you reverted "did not appear to be constructive". --Critical Commentary (talk) 11:05, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    • Sure. Here and here, you removed information highly relevant to the article, without providing an edit summary as to why you did so. Cirt (talk) 11:09, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
      • Just a friendly note: If you are going to be removing longstanding information from an article, it is usually helpful to both explain yourself in the edit summary, and also to make a more detailed note of why and what you are doing in a new section on the article's talk page. If you explain yourself in edit summaries in the future, other editors will be less likely to see removal of material from articles as vandalism - though these types of edits could still be controversial and/or disputed on the talk page.
