This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Multiple-prism grating laser oscillators, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.opticsjournal.com/laseroscillators.htm.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/International Conference of Laser Applications[edit]

Please refrain from addressing editors directly in AFDs such as you've done in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/International Conference of Laser Applications. Focusing on the article and it's merits rather than individual editors will lend more weight to your arguments.--RadioFan (talk) 19:48, 15 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This AFD has been cleaned up a bit to make it clear who is responding and to what comment. If you wish to express that the article should be kept please change your initial entry there to keep rather than the current comment. Also consider using the : character to endent comments to make it clear that you are responding to another editor's entry. This will make it easier for others to read and add their thoughts on the AFD. --RadioFan (talk) 15:45, 19 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

About your edits[edit]

Hi Corrigendas, this is a courtesy notice that I have just started a discussion at Wikiproject physics Talk about your editing behaviour.

I would like to ask you what is your affiliation with F. J. Duarte, as you appear to be heavily promoting his work. Be aware that over-citing a particular person or group on Wikipedia may be considered a may be a conflict of interest and labelled as spam. --Nanite (talk) 10:56, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

An article that you have been involved in editing, N-slit_interferometric_equation, has been proposed for a merge with another article. If you are interested in the merge discussion, please participate by going here, and adding your comments on the discussion page. Thank you. Nanite (talk) 10:56, 24 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Also, might we merge N-slit interferometer with diffraction grating? --Nanite (talk) 10:56, 24 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:FJ DUARTE-N SLIT INTERFEROMETER.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Welcome, but be careful[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Here are suggested readings: WP:SECONDARY and WP:COI. The gist of these guidelines are:

  • Wikipedia prefers citations to reviews and books, not primary journal references (tens of thousands appear annually). Citing secondary sources is the encyclopedic style.
  • Do not cite yourself or your colleagues. It's called conflict of interest. Many new editors cite themselves mainly. Such behavior is inappropriate although new editors make this mistake. Happy editing. --Smokefoot (talk) 01:25, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Your draft article, Draft:C.E.K. Mees Medal[edit]

Hello, Corrigendas. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "C.E.K. Mees Medal".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Phospheros (talk) 23:19, 22 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Duarte's multiple-prism grating laser oscillator.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Superseded by File:Duarte's multiple-prism grating laser oscillator.png.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
