February 2024[edit]

Information icon Hi Connoissaur! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Audiocubes that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Fanfanboy (talk) 19:59, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads up, Fanfanboy! Just so I'm clear about this, which edits in particular do you think went beyond being minor? (I'm guessing the change from 'further develop and commercialize' to 'promote'... Were there any others?) Connoissaur (talk) 20:06, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Nicholas Asbury moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Nicholas Asbury. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back.  Velella  Velella Talk   09:22, 11 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Velella - thanks for your message. What kind of sources would be required to this end, and what is a threshold for notability? The actor has been in a number of well-known series in the UK and, as already sourced, has received awards for both his acting and writing. Happy to go looking for more if it's required, though. Please see WP:GNG. Biographies of living people demand a very high level of sourcing. Essentially an article requires multiple references from fully independent and reliable sources (generally NOT the British tabloids) discussing the subject (i.e not just mentions). The subjects own publications contribute nothing to their notability. Do you have a connection with the subject.? Please read WP:COI which explains the requirements for editing is you are associated in any way with the subject of the article.  Velella  Velella Talk   20:13, 11 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
