Hi Joe. Thank you for your post on my talk page. I think Wikipedia's use of the term "Notability" causes significant confusion. To most people, notability means importance, fame. In Wikipedia, it means significant coverage in reliable, published sources that are independent of the subject. See General notability guideline. The testimonials you provided are not actually "coverage" of the topic and they are not published in the way a book or newspaper article is published. Also, Wikipedia uses the term "reference" to mean material contained in a footnote. The term "reference" is not used in Wikipedia to mean a written, personal testimonial as to a company's character, abilities, etc. Wikipedia is nothing more than a neutral and unbiased compilation of previously written, verifiable facts. If you are familiar with WritersUA, then you may be aware of any newspaper articles discussing the company. It is previously written material from those newspaper articles that could be used to compile a Wikipedia article. Please let me know if there is such media coverage of WritersUA. There does not appear to be an "In the News" section at winwriters.com. One way to look at Wikipedia's action is that WritersUA may benefit from hiring a public relations firm to get WritersUA's name out in the print media. -- Jreferee (Talk) 21:56, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
