Hey, have you seen my user page yet? Check it out- its kinda sad. Especially this. - Freechild 00:17, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh god, you're going to make me learn about Omaha's underground hip hop scene now, aren't you. I'll let you know when I've added something to Music in Omaha or Culture in Omaha. Thanks for the heads-up. – Freechild (BoomCha) 23:47, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'll see if I can find any albums for you. Currently regional hip hop is pretty hard to find (especially from midwestern cities which less prominent scenes (Tulsa/Kansas City/Omaha/Cleveland etc vs Memphis/NYC/LA/Houston/Bay Area), but there are a couple of forums devoted to sharing these albums and I might be able to dig some music up. Claphands 00:03, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Done. See here. – Freechild (BoomCha) 00:37, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Nice. You work fast! Claphands 00:40, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
All your base are belong to us. – Freechild (BoomCha) 00:45, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Dude, on a different note, if you ever need help with an AfD like One Gud Cide let me know. There are WP vultures in these there hills, and I've got a secret lance of destruction for how to stave them off. My hit list is pretty good on the "save" rating. – Freechild (BoomCha) 00:44, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Some album reviews of groups that rep omaha:

Uh, check out this hip hop school program in Omaha - pretty nice. Here. – Freechild (BoomCha) 17:07, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Look what the streets made.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Look what the streets made.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:08, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

Notability of One Gud Cide[edit]

A tag has been placed on One Gud Cide, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Realkyhick 20:16, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not recreate deleted content. Rama's arrow (just a sexy boy) 22:13, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hey, um, The Clapper, I cleaned up your citations and re-inserted the speedy delete boxes. Let that process play itself out and I think the article will be fine. Look through the article and observe how I cited sources - not the syntax, but the frequency and variety. That is one way to use The Force. There are other tricks, too... I will watch the article and advocate for its existence. – Freechild (BoomCha) 03:06, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Awesome, I'll try to do my article creation on those lines. Thanks for the edits. Claphands 17:40, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Also, another thought: "They" talk about the credibility of sources... so I tend to use books.google.com and amazon to look inside books for references on things that might be controversial. On modern topics like hip hop acts, though, just stay away from using blogs as sources. Just a thought. – Freechild (BoomCha) 20:58, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I tried rewriting a problematic article to test my chops. How is Young Bleed re: citations, undeletablity (independent of the chart topping album(s))? Claphands 23:38, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That is exactly what you want to do - and generally in a form that I think is complete. Do you know about the "history" tab on the page? Go and look at what I did to the page, just for a few little things. But your citations are spot on, and indisputable. FYI, WP has some rule against linking to myspace, but I'm not sure how it works; look at what I did to that link. Otherwise, yer perfect. Oh, also, do you know how to "watch" a page? If you don't, click on the article's watch tab, then click on "my watchpage" in the upper righthand corner of your webpage. That's convenient. Notice that nobody will give you crap on your Young Bleed article; look at Master P to see what happens when the artist is notable enough, but the article is weak... Good job man. – Freechild (BoomCha) 04:44, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:BoneThugsNHarmonyE1999Eternal.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:BoneThugsNHarmonyE1999Eternal.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 02:10, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
