Thanks for your review, Hoary. Your comments helped me realize the need to clarify several elements: that Chouinard was not a "new" school, that it had been exclusively an art school, not an accredited degree granting college, and that changes anyone unfamiliar with the challenges of achieving or maintaining accreditation might consider "trivia."
Could you point out specific sources Wikipedia guidelines consider not "reliable"? In other museum curator or director entries, I see similar sources, newspapers, books, etc.
Thanks again. Ciao bill (talk) 16:52, 20 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hoary, could you provide some substantiation for this comment: "Is any new school worth the name not swiftly accredited? Does any new school not swiftly get an academic dean?" The Wikipedia entry on "Higher education accreditation in the United States" does not make it sound like something that happens "swiftly," and my experience supporting the re-accreditation of a top ranked medical school would make the answer to your question "Is any new school worth the name not swiftly accredited?" "No", even for well-established institutions, the accreditation process in time-consuming and fraught with critical reviews. Ciao bill (talk) 17:10, 20 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
