Hi, I'm pretty sure the glacier visible in the image is Romanche Glacier. A file with official Chilean geographic names can be found here. According to that file, Ventisquero Romanche (Romanche Glacier) is located at coordinates 54°52′S 69°28′W / 54.867°S 69.467°W / -54.867; -69.467, which is consistent with the image. BTW, the article Alberto de Agostini National Park could be of your interest. Jespinos (talk) 18:27, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The above issue would not be a reason for refraining from the creation of new articles. You should not feel discouraged from creating articles. If you need help ask me on my talk page. Jespinos (talk) 16:44, 16 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No problem on the categorization of Laurence C. Hodgson. Everyone started off as a new editor once. By the way, is your user name an allusion to Cadwallader C. Washburn? I'm wondering if you're a Minnesota history buff, like I am.

Oh, and here are some links that are helpful as a welcome to new users:

Wow![edit]

Thanks for posting that warning really fast to the user I just reverted! :) Versus22 (talk) 22:56, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think I must have hit revert just after you did. I was using Twinkle, so the user talk page came up automatically. Cadwaladr (talk) 23:03, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I noted that you tried to speedy this article, so I thought I'd leave you a note asking that if you come across non-English articles on Wikipedia in the future to please list them at WP:PNT, where we a number of polyglots to deal with them. That said, perhaps you'd like to join us there and help us edit some of the articles that have already been translated? We still have quite a backlog, even though a couple of users have been actively editing them. Thanks and have a happy new year! -Yupik (talk) 13:10, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, sorry about the mistake; I should have realised it was another language, rather than gibberish. I'll be more careful about that. Cadwaladr (talk) 15:21, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Graeme Ritchie[edit]

Just a friendly note on Graeme Ritchie. I declined your speedy deletion request, as qualifying for the Superbike World Championship is a claim of importance. If you still think this needs to go, you might try AfD (although I'd suggest a gsearch first, as he definitely appears notable.)--Fabrictramp | talk to me 01:28, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sitting Bull[edit]

Hi, the edit I made to the entry on Sitting Bull was sourced and I provided citation. Maybe I should have used the sandbox but why do you think it was vandalism? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Seezmtl (talkcontribs) 20:29, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Chris Cooley[edit]

This was talk on a local DC sports station earlier today around 12:30-12:45. I did not catch the whole story, but the key word here is rumored, which is why it was reported as such. I don't think what I did was vandalism, but if I can find a secondary source (since I can't find a way to list a radio report as a source) I will be more than happy to post it. Please keep this in mind before throwing the vandalism tag out there.

And I don't understand why there are several other posts on my talk. I don't have an account right now. I used to (I guess I still do), but each time I attempt to recover the password it never comes through. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.255.1.67 (talk) 19:39, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
