Hello, CPGACoast. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Wikipedia Vocal Ranges[edit]
Hi there, I'm a total rando here but I've noticed you making positive edits to music articles and wanted to ask if you had any idea how to fix Wikipedia's system for vocal ranges in songs. MusicNotes usually notates songs sung by males as being an octave higher than they are and when I try to correct Wikipedia song articles to the actual range of the song it gets reverted because the MusicNotes source incorrectly states otherwise. Do you think there's anything that could be done to correct this widespread misinformation or is it best to just leave the incorrect information up? Regarding vocal ranges, an explicit statement must come from WP:SECONDARY sources, and be stated in the article body. You are violating WP:No original research when you analyze vocal range yourself, and deliver your conclusions to Wikipedia. Binksternet (talk) 14:39, 23 March 2022 (UTC)
