Image copyright problem with File:Uncle 1.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Uncle 1.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 19:50, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Peter_Pakosh.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Peter_Pakosh.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Chris G Bot (talk) 00:11, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Peter Pakosh.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Peter Pakosh.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 18:51, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly unfree File:Peter Pakosh.jpg[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Peter Pakosh.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. --FASTILYsock(TALK) 02:16, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

We take copyright status very seriously around here, so I have tagged this image for deletion again because you have never added a copyright tag to the image and the source indicates that all rights are reserved, so clearly the image looks like it is copyright to Jarrod W. Pakosh and not to Bunge2112, even though you may know they are the same person. If you want to release this image under a free licence, first you have to provide an appropriate copyright tag AND secondly you need to provide evidence that you Bunge2112 have some relationship with Jarrod Pakosh, the person mentioned on the website where the image came from. The best way top do this is to confirm your permission to us by following the instructions at WP:PERMISSION otherwise it looks like you are claiming the image as your even though the image is sourced to someone with a different name. You may also find it useful to read my image copyright information page. Unfortunately the burden of proof is on you to provide the necessary information, so please do not upload this image again until you fix the problem. If you decide to send permission, make sure to mention the file name, so that, if it has been deleted, it can be found and restored by the OTRS team. Hope that helps. ww2censor (talk) 05:49, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:First Grain Auger circa 1945.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:First Grain Auger circa 1945.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 23:05, 23 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
