Policy studies[edit]

Adding scientific adjectives to the table[edit]

What is the fastest way to add scientific adjectives (i.e. vertical columns) to the table and keep the alphabetical order? For now I copy/paste all new items to the columns of all sciences. Brz7 18:17, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure I completely understand here[edit]

Experimental sciences (which are done in the laboratory) are very different than observational sciences (where most data can not be obtained in the lab) like:

Astronomy
astrophysics
geophysics
solar physics
stellar physics
cosmology
meteorology
oceanography
geomagnetism
seismology
atmospheric physics
ocean physics
most earth sciences
most space sciences
most ocean sciences
most atmospheric sciences

Some sciences have observational and experimental components, like evolutionary biology, or botany, or zoology or entymology. There are also clinical sciences, like clinical psychology. --Filll 20:23, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Yes, various classifications can be made, excluding some sciene(s). Therefore initially I propose to add all (almost all: no "Pseudosciences / List of pseudosciences and pseudoscientific concepts" (which may be a source for new sciences..because what is exactly the scientific method)) to the table, which will "create/coin" rather bizarre/exotic names. More and more crossover takes place.

Of course other tables could be made (be bold!) which include experimental sciences (or observational, clinical) only.
