Request reason:

Seven years ago, I vandalized some Wikipedia pages, and that was wrong of me, and you blocked me, which was completely fair. I was a kid then, and I thought that sort of thing is funny, but in the seven years since, I feel I've matured somewhat, and I'd no longer engage in that sort of behavior now if given the opportunity. Honestly, I don't think I'd be doing much editing at all and mostly just want to be able to participate in discussions. Anyway, I'd like to ask if you'd consider giving me a second chance after all this time. You've every right to say no, and I'll accept that answer if that's the answer you give. I broke the rules, after all. I don't know if there's any sort of statute of limitations on this sort of thing or what, but I made my bed, and I'll gladly lay in it should you deem it thus, but I'm asking you to please at least consider it. Thanks in advance. brokeneye3 (talk) 08:13, 8 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

Seven years is a long time to a young person (even if, to an old man like me, it seems but the blink of an eye). I see no reason to decline this request now, so I have unblocked this account. Welcome back. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 09:02, 8 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
