Your recent edit to Elan School (diff) was reverted by an automated bot. If you want to experiment, please use the preview button while editing or consider using the sandbox. If this revert was in error, please contact the bot operator. If you made an edit that removed a large amount of content, try doing smaller edits instead. Thanks! // VoABot II 07:41, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:ElanSchoolFacilities.gif, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:ElanSchoolFacilities.gif is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:ElanSchoolFacilities.gif itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 07:50, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of 199 Computer Stores[edit]

A tag has been placed on 199 Computer Stores requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. CultureDrone (talk) 18:23, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Elan School[edit]

On my talk page you accused me of "PROMOTING SLANDEROUS and UNPROVEN ACCUSATIONS AS FACT" in Elan School, and you said that I reversed the changes you had made "at least 10 times." I guess this indicates that you are the same person who has repeatedly removed reliably sourced content and references from that article anonymously under the IPs 68.53.145.74 and 68.53.145.2. You are the one who has been vandalizing the article. The content you persist in removing is based on reliable sources, including state government reports, daily newspapers in Maine, and Atlantic magazine. Contrary to your assertions that I am pushing a point of view and that the article presents slanderous accusations as fact, the article has been carefully worded in an effort to ensure that allegations are not presented as if they were proven facts, and to avoid giving undue weight to the accusations that some individuals have made against the school.

When I protected the article due to anonymous vandalism, I invited you to discuss your concerns on the article talk page instead of repeatedly damaging the article. You are still welcome to comment on the talk page, but continued attacks on the article will cause you to be blocked from editing. --Orlady (talk) 01:00, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for Repeatedly vandalizing Elan School by removal of sourced content and reference citations.. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. File permission problem with File:ElanSchoolFacilities1.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:ElanSchoolFacilities1.gif. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Camaron · Christopher · talk 22:56, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
