Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Spinosad. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. - Well, I know I was adding informational content. The link I submitted has no ads. It's an article that provided additional data on using an often overlooked flower (clematis) for bouquets. I don't think the link is spam, but apparently you do. I've seen many links on Wiki that provided a lot less content that have remained. Since I have no desire to constantly look to see what is deleted at random after I post it, I won't bother adding anything else to Wiki in the future. However, I would like to know why you considered it spam in the first place. That is my question about the Spinosad article as well (below). How is an article about safe spray practices attached to information about using Spinosad (with detailed information about spraying) not an appropriate addition to the article? And, though the Sheet Mulching deletion isn't mentioned here on this page, you removed the link I placed to an article about that as well. It was a detailed article about how to use the sheet mulching technique in your garden, with photos, and no ads or business names listed... on a site that does not sell products. - Hi, I'm sorry but Wikipedia has strict rules about adding external links, as explained at the blue links listed above. This is policed by volunteers such as myself, so some external links will inevitably fall through the cracks and remain, as you mention having seen. I have added a Welcome template with useful links below; lots of new users run into our external link policy, please don't let the experience put you off. You may also find the material at Wikipedia:Spam#How not to be a spammer helpful in contributing cited content, not bare links, to improve the encyclopedia.
