Welcome!

Hello, BirdDogg34, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome!

Welcome to Wikipedia[edit]

Thanks for your note. Instead of changing edits made by others on your very first day, it might be a good idea to familiarize yourself with style and format guidelines, especially since several of your edits were reverted by others, which should have given you a hint something you were doing was wrong. The awards section at Next to Normal is fairly standard as it appears now. In general, capitals (WINNER) are not used in Wikipedia because they imply shouting. When you leave messages for others, remember to "sign" them by typing four tildes after your message. Have fun with your contributions but keep in mind a lot of people have been here for a long time (far longer than I have) so don't be too quick to edit their work because they probably know what they're doing. Good luck! LiteraryMaven (talkcontrib) 18:37, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with LiteraryMaven, although your enthusiasm to help out with musicals articles is very welcome! It will be very helpful for you to read the links in the welcome message above. All the best, -- Ssilvers (talk) 18:51, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Adonis (musical) Playbill.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Adonis (musical) Playbill.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 11:38, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
