External link on WWII[edit]

Hello Bill J.

We're pretty strict about external links, especially for an article as prominent as WWII. Your link looks like an ad more then anything else. To put it into context, even a free eBook on WWII would be "iffy" unless it was from a very well-known / reputable source. Oberiko 17:36, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry if you think i've been spamming, I promise not to add anymore links anywhere else, however, I do think I was only adding pertinent links to articles which added to the interest of the readers, but fair enough if that's what you think then fine. I think however, you are going too far in your warnings vis the Permanent Revolution site, as notwithstanding my relationship to that group, no one as far as I am aware has contested the accuracy of what is written there. I'd like to request that you take down those warnings. p.s. I've added various third party links as requested.
