Reckitt Benckiser[edit]

Hi. I've undone most of the changes you made to the above article. You need to provide a citation for the first two sentences. The rest of it read it as though it were the thoughts of the editor (i.e. you) More details here: WP:RS and here WP:NPOV --MoreThings (talk) 14:51, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, that's fair enough. But in that case I propose to remove the entire article since it's media speculation and there has been no ruling in this case that's being investigated currently. Even though it's from a recognised news organisation the story is interpretation not fact and as such not a reliable source as mentioned in the WP:RS policy. What do you think? Athpappas (talk) 09:18, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Firstly, I'd point out I'm simply editor, exactly like you. My opinion is that it should not be deleted. Your argument seems to boil down to "It's a reliable source, but I don't agree with what the RS is saying" and that's not a reasonable argument for deletion of the article. See WP:DEL for deletion policy.--MoreThings (talk) 12:52, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Help[edit]

{{help me}}Hi. Yesterday we made changes to the Environmental initiative based on fact with citations to differnt online sources. This morning all edits are gone and it is back to the old text. Before re-editing again could you please let us know what was the reason that this has been removed. Thanks!! athpappasAthpappas (talk) 09:08, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You can check these things by clicking the 'History' tab; in this case, it shows that your changes were undone with this edit.
Note the edit summary, Reinstate commentary from the Independent which had been replaced by comment from a web-based newsletter. See talk., and the username, MoreThings (talk · contribs).
When someone removes your edits, the best thing to do is to just politely discuss it with them on the articles discussion page, which in this case is Talk:Reckitt Benckiser - if you go there, you'll see that MoreThings has explained their edit; please edit that section and reply.
For more help, you can either;
  • Leave a message on my own talk page; OR
  • Use a {{helpme}} - please create a new section at the end of your own talk page, put {{helpme}}, and ask your question - remember to 'sign' your name by putting ~~~~ at the end; OR
  • Talk to us live, with this or this.
Best wishes,  Chzz  ►  09:33, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
