  • And another request, some months later (although i know you will not answer, but OK): i say "thank you" for the new infoboxes you (and lots of other users) have been creating, WP has been saying that is "the way to go". However, please stop compressing club names in storyline, they should be in full there, compression in infobox only please.

Thank you in advance, take care, from Portugal,

  • Thank you sincerely for your response, my "wiki-friend", hope we can work together as a team, just ask if you need anything :)

  • Hi ARBERO. Why did you say you agreed with me on not compressing club names in storyline, when you are doing exactly the opposite? Please stop, it would be very strange to read this kind of sentence in a player's article: "Born in BARCELONA, (x-player) started playing for BARCELONA..." Please leave the FC's CF's, UD's in storyline, compress only in box.

Have a nice weekend, from Portugal - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 20:18, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

  • After seeing some of your edits from AFTER this message (24 May), it is clear that will not, as you said in your response to me, "try". What i find most upsetting is not that - everybody as their way of editing, but i will NEVER understand what do some users have against full names in storyline, for example compressing PSV EINDHOVEN to PSV in story is simply incredible - but the fact that you told me (twice!) you agreed with me, when obviously you DO NOT.

OK, rest assured, won't bother you anymore, regards - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 18:05, 29 May 2010 (UTC)

Just to let you know for future reference, you do not have to (and should not) remove the empty fields of an infobox. In the future, those will be necessary to fill in, and should always remain =).--Cinemaniac86Dane_Cook_Hater_Extraordinaire 18:04, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Hi there. Just so you know, I formatted the writing credits as they are supposed to be formatted according to the documentation of the template {{Infobox film}}. Cliff smith talk 23:34, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

August 2010

Hello, please do not add indiscriminate details to Fight Club (film) as you did here. The film infobox does not contain every single production company involved, only the major ones. In addition, Fight Club is primarily an American film because of its American studio; any German relationship it may have is very minimal. Thanks, Erik (talk | contribs) 11:42, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Fight Club (film). There is a Manual of Style that should be followed. Thank you. Erik (talk | contribs) 11:45, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. When you make a change to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Fight Club (film). Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit. It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. Erik (talk | contribs) 11:51, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
Please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do when you edited Jurassic Park III. Thank you. Erik (talk | contribs) 11:56, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

Regarding this, please see my similar notification about Fight Club. The "studio" field should not list all production companies indiscriminately; the film infobox is intended to be a summary of the film. In the case of Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Miramax Films is the primary studio. The assisting production companies are of little value in the infobox. If they contributed to the film in a big way, it should be detailed in the article body. Erik (talk | contribs) 15:16, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

OK, I will try not to. Arbero 17:37, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for using edit summaries, by the way! :) Erik (talk | contribs) 15:21, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
Sorry, I'm just lazy sometimes. Thanks for the heads-up! Arbero 17:33, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
Understandable! If you are interested in film articles, you may want to check out WikiProject Films and its guidelines for film articles here. We also have numerous discussions on the WikiProject's talk page. Regards, Erik (talk | contribs) 16:00, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
  • Thanks for the reply my friend. Hey, no hard feelings, "whistle" if/when you have any doubts, i'll help you if i can :). Take care - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 16:52, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

FYI, for Black Swan (film), MOS:IMAGES says, "It is often preferable to place images of faces so that the face or eyes look toward the text. Multiple images in the same article can be staggered right-and-left." The placement of the promo image of Portman accomplishes both of these. If you're concerned about the heading runover, I don't think it's an issue. Erik (talk | contribs) 20:20, 14 September 2010 (UTC)

Ipswich Town F.C.

Hey Arbero, and thanks for your edits to the ITFC article. I'm a keen fan of the club, and was one of the primary editors to get the article to featured status. I noticed that most of your edits have been excellent, and just wanted to let you know that I'd sort-of reverted one of them, where I made it clear the club was an association football club, rather than just a football club. In any case, it's not a big deal, I just wanted this to be clear to an international audience where a football club isn't necessarily unambiguous. Keep up the good work, nice to have another pair of eyes and another good editor looking at my favourite article. The Rambling Man (talk) 20:23, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, you're doing good work but you did remove the link to association football. But not to worry, fixed now, and keep up the good stuff. The Rambling Man (talk) 20:29, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

Halo

Thanks for your help tidying up the Halo articles. One thing, though: on Halo 2 you changed the date format[1] to something inconsistent with all the other Halo articles; generally we leave dates and accessdates in references in ISO format.
