Wikipedia:Rollback[edit]

Hi. Regarding your reversion of my edit, the link in question points to a page listing all users, and not admins, when the linked text refers to admins. Why is this? Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 23:25, 18 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, thanks for your message rather than a senseless revert. It seems you replaced something that was actually working with something not proper. It does indeed link to a list of admins. Antideregister 23:27, 18 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Nightscream is an admin, so I do think that their edit is kind of weird … Epicgenius (talk) 01:05, 19 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Could the account have been compromised? Antideregister 02:13, 19 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It's a possibility, but I doubt it. Otherwise, Nightscream would have been temporarily blocked and desysopped. It's probably just a mistake. Epicgenius (talk) 16:44, 19 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
But this person is an admin! They should clearly know the basics of wiki markup, which this user does not seem to have. Antideregister 22:18, 19 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Block message:

Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Jimbo wheelss". The reason given for Jimbo wheelss's block is: "Vandalism".

Decline reason: You were autoblocked because the accounts you created to vandalize the encyclopedia were blocked. Based on the conversation below, and early pattern matching edits like this, I have made the block on this account a real one. You will need to respond below with something much better than "maybe my sister". Kuru (talk) 13:54, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure why I was autoblocked. Antideregister - 03:26, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Well, someone's been messing around, creating accounts named "Jimbo wheelss" and "Jimbo Waleez" and vandalizing with them; and they've been doing it on the IP you use, and they started doing it about four minutes after you made this edit, and perhaps on the same device you've used. --jpgordon::==( o ) 04:45, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Possibly. I do have an older sister, but as far as I know, she has not edited Wikipedia. Antideregister - 05:03, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Could you explain why the blocked account made a very similar edit to you? Remembering that the abuse of multiple accounts is against Wikipedia policy and usually results in a block. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 08:27, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Not only that one, but also these, #1, #2, #3 and #4, meaning that the first five edits that "Jimbo wheelss" made were virtually identical to the last edit Antideregister made, and were all made within minutes of Antideregister's last edit. And since they were also made from the same IP the vandalising accounts not only walk like ducks and quack like ducks but also waggle their tails like ducks. • Sad to see that you're indeffed, Antideregister. In my opinion, what you did was not cool. Epicgenius (talk) 15:50, 26 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
